The essential utensilMono had apparently found a bowl of food in it while on his journey with Six. He didn't feel all too hungry to eat much but he figured it'd be a good idea before his stomach begins to grumble.
He found the bowl next to a recliner chair while they perused the outside and inside of buildings and streets in the pale city.
The bowl seemed to be untouched and looked small enough for a child of his and Six's size. They was even a small spoon in it already. He decided to pick up to try a bite, but he then realized a small problem of his own.
He would either have to lift his bag slightly to take a bite or take it off completely. So, being the little shy kid that he is he was pondering this as if he was really that hungry enough to lift his bag.
He just stood there holding the spoon and bowl, barely even touching or moving it as he thought, until he heard a large growl next to him.
He looked over at Six as she looked down to her belly area as she felt her stomach growl. Mono knew she was beginning to feel hungry, so he looked back at the bowl and back at her again, then moved his hand with the spoon to her for her to take it.
Mono: Want a bite?
Six nods to signify her saying "yes", then she looked at the spoon but kindly declined it, gesturing with one hand in a way to say "no".
She then started rummaging around some of the leftover dishes that were stacked by the chair and began pulling on something in between the plates.
She then pulled out a larger spoon that was two or three times the size of the one Mono was holding. It looked to be glistening in the rooms light as she held it up after pulling it out, basically showing off superior power like an essential utensil than Mono's tiny spoon.
Mono: ...
He then purposely drops the spoon and places both of his hands on the bowl and stretches his arms to her.
Mono: Do you want the bowl?
She nods "yes" and proceeded to use the giant spoon and try to scoop some food out of the bowl as he still held it out, but instead the spoon knocked over the bowl and fell out of his hands and spilled all over in front of them.
Mono was still in the same position but was looking at the floor as well as Six, who lowered the giant spoon in a moment that felt like defeat.
She put the spoon on the floor and reached for the smaller spoon, picked it, and held it up. Mono and Six look back at each other with blank expressions on their face.
He could only think of to do in the moment was shrug.
