Just a nightmareSix and Mono were resting under some rubble of boxes and trash to be safe under the pouring night of the pale city as the streets were riddled to be homes of the unknown.
Time and time again has their fate ahead been of wonder, fear, and loss. The loss for Mono that is. Throughout their journey, Six and Mono became separated to continue or Six being taken.
Mono was devastated at times when it would be his fault that Six was taken away. He is a strong kid in his own way and would rarely ever give up on the task before giving up.
He would set things right, and get her back, no matter the cost. Through countless horrors he prevailed, and always succeeded thus far. He managed to save her, and there they were resting from the rain.
Mono couldn't shake the thoughts flooding in. The only reason Six has been in danger by the hunter, the bullies, the teacher, and doctor, was because he lead them both there.
He was sitting with his arms wrapped around his legs, with Six resting on her side, her back facing him. He wouldn't stop glaring at Six as he feared what could happen to her next. He wasn't sure if she was even sleeping or still conscious to hear him shuffling. Just his two eye holes glaring at her as she doesn't know.
Through time went by as if watching a clock tick every second, meaning time felt slow. Mono doesn't know how long he's been staring out watching the rain. It never even seemed to look like it would start to let up.
He stayed awake while his body was forcing upon the sudden drowsy feeling. He needed rest, and he didn't like the idea as he needed to watch to make sure she's okay. But that was made even worse as his eyes were slowly beginning to close.
He couldn't keep this up. Eventually he gave in and let sleep take him over. Laying on his back while he stares at Six, weakly lending an arm out to her, wanting to hold onto her. Finally his eye lids shut.
Short time later...
Mono's eyes slowly tried to open as the feeling of just waking up still made him feel drowsy. He soon shot his eyes wide open as he looked to where Six was, and she wasn't there anymore.
