I felt something touch my force field which immediately woke me up, turns out it was just a falling leaf but good timing because we should get going to find enough badges for Leorio for helping me out since Ponzu was originally his target.
No time to dwell though it's in the past, we should focus on acquiring these badges as we only have 4 days left which should be enough time, just want to be sure.
To be honest I'm tempted to use my special ability (making a massive force field around the whole island to know everyones identity and location) but that takes 10× more strength and nen than my normal force fields so I wouldn't be at my full strength, but at this point it seems almost necessary as I'm not sending anyone nearby and Ponzu's bees aren't picking up anything so at this rate she's done for and I really don't want her to fail the exam.
"Hey Ponzu, I have an idea that'll speed up our process but it'll make me weaker so if someone were to attack us or something I wouldn't be able to make a force field for long" I tell her as we walked along a cleared out area in the forest, she took a second before answering, "If it's okay with you, I'd like your help.
And if you feel tired I can protect us for a little while with my bees" she looks over to me "Alright" I say coming to a halt and taking deep breaths to concentrate.
After some concentration I send out the force field wave all across the island, conveniently there are three pretty easy targets down east so that'd be a good place to start.
Wait a minute, what is that? A long pink string attached to my cheek? This is Hisoka's doing isn't it. He wants to make sure I'm safe, that's actually quite comforting to know that I have hopfully his and Ponzu's protection, I'm curious how he attached it to me though? Oh I think it was when he tucked my hair behind my ear he must have grazed my cheek or something.. whatever it doesn't matter right now, what matters is that we get those number badges.
I release my concentration, releasing my special ability force field along with it as I kneel to the ground to gather my strength and senses again, it takes a lot out of me (it's like when Gon uses his special rock paper scissors move, when hes all tired after because it exhausting, yeah that's how Y/n feels)

"You okay Y/n? Need a second"
Ponzu asks as she takes my arm and helps me up "No I'm okay thank you, theres three about 3 kilometers east" I respond with a sigh as I get to my feet and turn to walk towards the eastern side of the island where our targets and their number badges are located.

"Ooo look an apple tree! Let's pick some, we haven't eaten in a while"
Ponzu chimes as she runs over to the tree ripe with red apples up ahead, I was a little skeptical at first but they seem to be fine and I've got to admit I haven't even since that egg from phase two like a week ago. So this is a nice treat.
After we had a couple apples we continued our journey to get three extra badges.
Hours later and no one yet, it was getting late so we decided to go to sleep.. well Ponzu said she'd keep watch while I slept since she got two nights of sleep and I barely did.
I found a nice sturdy branch to lay on while I stared at the stars for what felt like forever, they're so mesmerizing like a black canvas with glitter thrown on it. "AHHHH" Ponzu screamed, I jerked up to see where she had gone but shes no where to be found.. "What the fuck" I mutter. Best not to yell in this situation as I don't want the attackers to know my location though it's kind of obvious, I try using a close range force field to see where they might be but nothing? Why isn't it working? What's happening?!
Everything suddenly goes dark when I feel someone put their hands over my eyes and mouth, I tried to struggle but I'm just so weak and tired at the moment it's no use!
I struggle anyways until their body let go and fell out of the tree with a THUMP as they hit the ground.
I look back to see Hisoka taking the card from the back of the attackers head, "Y/n? Are you alright?" The sound of Ponzu's voice came from Hisokas mouth.. what the hell? "Y/n wale up" My eyes start to part as I see I'm on the ground with Ponzu hovering over me, it's still dark and my head hurts really bad..
"W-what happend?" I ask it a groggy voice as I sit up against the trunk of the tree "How did I get down her?" I ask again, "You kept shifting and groaning in your sleep, I'm assuming you had a nightmare, you then fell down where I caught you and then you woke up" she explains with genuine concern as a scratch the back of my head.

"My head is killing me" I murmer "That's probably from the amount of power you used today" she replies handing me a bottle of water she had packed, I should probably tell her the correct word is nen not power but that's least of my concerns right now.
"Have some more water maybe splash some on your face by the stream over there" she suggests pointing to the water stream about 50 feet away, "That's a good idea, I think I will thanks." I respond getting up and slowing walking over to the stream to hopfully ease my aching head.
