(Eren POV)
I healed from those injuries; I knew that. It was so when Levi's "bullying" became worse, but this happened years ago. I shook my head. What day was it? What year? White fog invaded my mind. I felt like I was losing myself. Wait, Levi was waiting...
(Hange POV)
Shit! Shit! Shit! I screamed as I flung the commander out of his chair. Eren, he was fighting everything. My hands flew to the controls. The computer was attempting to put his mind back together but with him fighting it, the machine didn't know what to do. I could do nothing from here.
"What the hell is happening?" Levi screamed. Eren's body began to convulse. No! I yelled. I shoved them out of my way not caring if the runt got pissed. He would care if I let his boyfriend die, right? Orr worse have him live but without his mind. That would drive Levi insane. My feet pounded on the concrete steps. I ran down to the cells. Yanking Eren's door open I dropped to my knees beside his bed.
The syringe was already uncapped. I plunged it into his neck. "Come on, Eren, you're stronger than this, I know you are!" I yelled at him as I wrestled to keep his body on the bed. My eyes on the monitors in his room. Everything was way too high. This wasn't good he was going to...
"Listen to me, Eren. Focus on my voice. I'm real!" I yelled. I needed him to wake up! A hand fell to my shoulder.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Levi screamed. Well, at least he didn't pull me away from the fucking kid! Had to give him some credit.
"HE'S DYING!" I yelled back. "I need him to wake up!" I felt useless. There was literally nothing I could do. The seizure meds I just gave him would fight the medicine needed to wake him up. Eren was on his own for this.
"Eren?" Levi's voice cracked. The pain so real in it. I turned to look at him. Tears were flowing unchecked down his face. He took Eren's hand in his leaning over his body. "Listen to me. High schools over. We're together, don't leave me, Eren." He pleaded. I watched as he crawled on top of the shaking teen. What was he thinking? My eyes went to the monitors. They were... stabilizing. He was aware.
(Eren's POV)
"Come on, Eren, you're stronger than this, I know you are!" A voice screamed at me out of the white nothingness that was invading my reality. I knew that voice. How did I know it? Who was it? A name emerged from the fog. Hange. A face became clear. Their smile as they witnessed some scientific miracle. You just had to grin back at them.
"Listen to me, Eren. Focus on my voice. I'm real!" Hange continued. But where was the voice coming from. I reached out to touch the face. Where are you, Hange?
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" That voice I knew well. Why was it so full of fear? Never had I heard it like that! A pain shot through my heart. I gasped.
"HE'S DYING!" Hange was yelling at Levi, what alternate reality was this? "I need him to wake up!"
"Eren?" Levi's voice cracked. It sounded like he was crying. "Listen to me. High schools over. We're together, don't leave me, Eren." He pleaded. Leave him? Never. My hands reached out to the voice.
I felt a weight holding me down. Levi, Levi was with me in the real world. I curled my arms around his familiar body. He was real. He was what I had to fight for. My mouth refused to say his name, but my head, my heart were screaming it. I clung to him.

"... brats..." I whispered.
(Levi POV)
I was lying on Eren's body, pleading with him to come back. I couldn't lose him. I knew I would die without him. His body moved beneath me. That could just be the seizures though. Then his arms wrapped around me, holding me to him.
"Eren, please..." I begged. My throat raw from crying. I never cried. What has this fucking...
"...brat..." his voice was a whisper. Could he read my mind now? I drew back to see his face.
Aqua green eyes looked up at me. "I am Eren Yeager, in command of the B.R.A.T unit..." his voice was like music. "I'm in love with my Captain." His smile, like the sun coming out, spread over his face.
"I'm in love with you too, you fucking brat." I cried lowering my head to press against his.
"Then kiss me, idiot." He cooed. I obeyed his command. I will get him for calling me an idiot later.
"Don't you ever scare me like that again." I told him keeping my mouth just touching his.
"I can't promise you that. I mean we are soldiers..." his voice trailed of, a hand moved off of my back. I pulled back to see his face. The fingers brushed my cheeks softly. I closed my eyes allowing him to wipe the tears away. Honestly, I don't think I could move my arms right now. Both hands were fisted tightly in his shirt. I couldn't let him go.
When his hand fell away, I opened my eyes. He smiled before pressing my head against his chest. "You look like you haven't slept again. Get some rest, I'm not going any where." He commanded. I closed my eyes, moving my head so that my ear was over his thumping heart. I breathed out.
(Eren POV)
I looked up at Erwin and Hange standing together by my cell door. Levi was asleep on my chest. I blinked.
"He was really upset, what happened?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing too bad, your brain was just shutting down from too much stimulus." Hange waved a hand.
"You are damn lucky he is asleep and didn't hear you say that." Erwin glared at the person beside him.
"Well, it's fine now. He came back." Hange pointed out before breezily walking away. Erwin shook his head. He turned his face to look at me.
"I'm not even going to attempt to move him. He would probably bite me..." He smirked. Pulling up a chair he sat down by my head.
"Eren?" He asked me.
"Mmm?" I looked up at him.
"Do you remember Reiner, from high school?" I frowned how could I forget?
"Yeah, him and..." my voice stopped. My eyes widened. No, my brain most still be fucking up. It couldn't be. "Bertolt?" I whispered. Erwin's hand squeezed my arm. I blinked.
"Relax. Your mind is correct. I researched it after you recalled what happened in the bathroom. Bertolt and Reiner went to school with you. They were transfers in your grade." He stated.
"Then where is Reiner now? Bertolt didn't even breath without him." I said. Erwin's lips thinned.
"There is no record of him after he left that school." I frowned at those words.
"I.. they never really came back after that. I think the finished out the month but..." my arms tightened on Levi. Worried, my eyes swung to Erwin's.
"There is something wrong. He would never join the Levi squad willingly. They hated Levi after that." I told him. His hand flexed on my arm.
"I know." Erwin said, his troubled gaze went to the man sleeping on me.
"And Bertolt knows about the two of you. Something isn't adding up. I need your help with this, Eren."
"Sure, anything." I stated.
"Continue as if you still don't remember that bathroom incident. Keep Bertolt close. I need you to keep an eye on him for me. Know where he is at all times. Be his friend. Let me look into anything else he might be up to, ok?" I nodded. He patted my arm.
"Get some rest." He said as he stood up.
"Commander?" Erwin swung back to look at me.
"Make sure, Levi isn't with me when Bertolt wakes up." I stated.
"Wasn't going to let that happen. He's right about you..." his eyes tenderly gazed at Levi's sleeping face. "You're not dumb, just over shadowed by Armin." I blinked.
"You, um sir, you're not in love with him too?" I asked. Erwin chuckled.
"No, Eren. Even if I was, Levi has always been yours from the moment he saw you." He ran a wary hand through his hair. "I have always been in love with rules and following order... Levi is not that at all!" We both laughed. Erwin waved as he walked out the door. He paused.
"I love him as a brother, so don't hurt him by getting yourself killed, alright?" Chuckling I agreed. I closed my eyes after brushing my lips over Levi's forehead. Sleep took me. I was grateful that it was dreamless.
When I woke up, I was alone. The place where Levi's body had been was cold, empty. I sighed as I sat up. He was out there watching me. Smirking, I swear I could feel his eyes on me. Looking up I saw Bertolt sitting on his bed looking in my direction. When he noticed I saw him he nodded.
"You made it to the other side." He called. I nodded.
"So did you. What about Petra?" I answered. He looked over his shoulder.
"Still asleep." He told me. I nodded again. A door opened and closed somewhere behind the mounds of junk in the lab, I heard footsteps approaching. Lowering my head I grinned. One pair belonged to Levi, I was certain of it. They appeared a moment later, Levi was walking between Hange and Erwin, he looked sultry.
Erwin grinned at us. "Congratulations, you have made it through." He clapped his large hands together.
"Petra?" I asked standing up.
"She has made it as well. As like both of you, she passed out again after waking. She should be up soon. But please..." Erwin gestured for us to come out. "Come and get something to eat." He was way to cherry for the look on Levi's face. I pushed the door open. Bertolt was talking to Hange about a headache. I brushed my fingers over Levi's hand. He caught them, temporarily, as he looked up at me. Letting me go, we both followed Erwin to where a grand meal was set up for us.
