Y/n's POV

We walked down in the arena as the crowd cheered. Sting and Rogue came down, too.

"I didn't want to fight you, L/n, but I guess I have no choice," he said, running towards me with an attack. I just smirked without moving an inch.

I could see the confusion in his face, but it was gone when just at the last minute, Natsu came before me and blocked his attack, sending Sting flying away with a death glare.

Rogue appeared behind me as my eyes widened. It was so fast. I had no time to react. I somersaulted and backed away, quick enough to dodge his attack.

As Sting and Natsu engaged in a duel, I engaged in a different battle with Rogue.

I smirked. It was time for me to show my skills. The twin dragon slayers were a big deal now, so if we beat them, FairyTail would be the top guild, and we would get our reputation back. Plus, there would be job requests, and I could finally go on some jobs.

I summoned a sword that worked most well with my blood magic. As soon as the sword appeared in my hand, my eyes turned bloodshot red.

It was like my magic was finally activated and now the whole stadium could feel how terrifying it actually was. My fangs could be seen clearly as I licked my lips in excitement.

I ran towards him, slashing him in full attack mode. He was trying his best to dodge it, but one miss and the battle was over. And just like that, he missed. I smirked as the blood spilt from his cheek. It was a small cut, and there was not much blood, but it was more than enough. I had access to blood now.

"Blood Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Blood Puppet," I chanted.

Rogue's eyes went wide as he felt a rush in his body.

"Come on, now, attack our friend," I commanded. His face was in utter shock as he lunged for Sting.

"Natsu, I guess, we can let these two fight. I'm sure the crowd will be pleased to find out which one of the twin dragon slayers is stronger," I said and in response, the crowd cheered.

Natsu turned to me with a serious look. I can't believe I forgot I was talking to Natsu Dragneel, the man who loved to fight.

I sighed, "Or you could fight the two of them on your own,"

He grinned, changing his mood in only two seconds. I rolled my eyes. I knew from the moment, the names were announced that I was not going to be able to fight if I was paired with him.

Even when the twin dragon slayers were trying to get to me, Natsu stopped them and forced them to engage in a duel with him.

"If you can defeat me, then only you are worthy of fighting the strongest female wizard in our guild," he spat. I felt honoured.

"But the way you're fighting, I really don't see that happening. One bit of advice: Don't underestimate Natsu. He might look stupid, oh who am I kidding, he is stupid, but at battles, he is the most terrifying person to have as an enemy," I said.

"And thank you for that," Natsu said with a sarcasm laced in his tone. I laughed.

The fight between those three went on as both Sting and Rogue resort to using their Dragon forces. But in the end, Natsu won, grinning like an idiot, showing his fangs. I smiled. I had no reason to doubt that idiot in the first place.

And so the day was over.

I decided to walk outside a bit to get some fresh air. It was about to rain. The clouds were dark, and I could small raindrops pouring through the sky. As I was about to head back to our lodge, I happened to lock eyes with a familiar person; Sting Eucliffe. He turned away quickly. He was sitting on a bench. His blonde spiky hair was slightly wet from the rain.
