Chapter 28: Apology

Y/n's POV

I looked at Natsu. He seemed surprised to see using fire magic.

I smiled, "I just borrowed your magic, silly. I learned this spell when I was training for the Grand Magic Games,"

He nodded in understanding.

"Let me show you how I would use your magic," I said. I was slightly sweating from the excessive heat from the flames. I ignited the fire as it surrounded the area.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" I said as a big amount of fire came from my mouth, directly hitting Rogue. It was so huge that there was no escaping it.

As the fire died, Rogue was on the floor, defeated.

Finally, the war had ended. Rogue's manipulation of the dragons faded.

"Natsu, would you do the honours?" I said as he grinned, showing his fangs. He walked up to the Eclipse gate and let out a roar, breaking the door in pieces.

I turned to Rogue and the dragons as their bodies glowed in a bright golden colour. Some of them had already started disappearing.

Natsu walked towards Rogue as I followed him.

"As long as Acnologia exists, the world will cease to exist. You need to finish him before my future becomes yours, too," Rogue said.

Acnologia. I needed to find him. I don't care about the risk. I needed answers.

"And, please save Frosch. In one year in your time, he will be killed by Gray Fullbuster," he said with tears floating in his eyes. I turned to look at Gray. Juvia ran to hug him, happy that the battle had finally ended and he was alive.

I turned back to Rogue to see him gradually disappear. I turned to look at Natsu. He was in front of me. He grinned and engulfed me in a hug. I slowly hugged him back.

"I'm glad you're okay," he whispered in my ear. He kissed me in my head and pulled away. I slightly blushed. I would normally answer him with a sly comeback, but I was too busy worrying if he could hear how loud and fast my heart was beating. He was a dragon slayer with dragon hearing. Of course, he could. I turned scarlet as the realization hit me.

A few days later~

Our guild hall was restored as a gift from the mayor of Magnolia.

All my injuries were healed and I had rested quite a bit. I walked to the Master's office. I knocked on the door. I opened the door when I heard him say come in. I walked in to see him going through some papers. His eyes slowly turned to me as he asked, "Is something here?"

"Actually, yeah. During my fight with Rogue from the future, he told me something and I wanted to know if it was true,"

"What did he say?"

"I don't want to trouble you with it, Gramps. If what he said was a lie, then I would only be burdening you. If you have jobs regarding Acnologia or any information about him, please, I request you to tell me," I said.

"Sure, as you wish," he said, And with that, I left.

I walked down the stairs to see Lucy. It was already late. I wondered what she wanted from me.

"Can we talk?" she asked.

"Sure. I'm going home. You can walk me home," I said hesitantly since I had no idea where this "talk" was going to go. 

"So, what did want to talk about?" I asked since she had not said a word.

She cleared her throat as she began, "I am sorry for glaring at you. It's just Natsu was so hurt when you left, and it made me mad that you came into his life like none of it even mattered,"
