Memories remind me

Songs I wish to sing with you

Stars I wish to rewrite for you

My world I wish the Queen be you.

But then I cannot have you...

I might as well say what I have always thought to be true

You'll only know how much you love me

The day I let go of you.

For I cannot lie to my own words

I cannot write four letters and tell them that is what I really intend

I cannot let empty words out then put love upfront to defend

For it's true when my stories tell me 'Pretend' - But never to ever fend

Because love is a game - Only the heartbroken are ready to play

For my love for you is like an ocean

A thousand  shades of you - But I can only see blue

Feeling thirsty yet knowing that a single drop can kill you

Being ready to dive yet seeing that it's possible to drown too

Fresh breeze - clear skies

And know what follows are raining stars

Falling down slicing your heart to bleed in scars

Drowning in your own blood - tears add more salt to your soars

Friends who are supposed to comfort you start whispering the 'I told you Sos'

The time that's supposed to heal you does nothing - But shows you the past and its missed scores

P.S I was never mad at you.
