Emotionless Deku

The theater gasped in worry for their friend. Losing your emotions is awful no matter who you are but it hurt them so much more knowing that it was their bright and bubbly friend.

"Y'know nerd, you should've just took my advice from middle school. At least then you wouldn't be a goddamn nuisance all the time!" Bakugo growled out to Deku. The class was confused as to what advice he was talking about as Izuku looked down without a word. With this movement his face was concealed from Bakugo and the rest of his classmates.

Todoroki, enraged by Bakugo's comment and a reminder of Midoriya's past, snapped around the the loud blonde with a hate filled glare. He may not show his emotions often, but when it came to the sweet green haired boy, he just couldn't seem to stay that way. "If you ever say that shit to Midoriya I will rip your head from your body, hero or not." Todoroki growled out with venom in his voice.

Bakugo gulped and then tsked, not wanting to show his fear.

"Bakubro won't do that!" Kirishima said, sweating bullets and trying to defuse the tension while defending his boyfriend. "Remember, he apologized! He said that he wanted them to be friends again!"

Todoroki shot Bakugo one last glare before turning back to the screen. The theater let out a breath of relief that nothing like before happened and turned their attention to the screen as well.

"Deku? Is something wrong?" Uraraka asked, worried because her best friend hadn't moved in a few minutes. "He's probably crying." Bakugo mocked, rolling his eyes. Izuku lifted his head and stared straight at Bakugo. Everyone went silent. Izuku's normally bright eyes had turned dull and empty. He wasn't smiling. He wasn't crying. He didn't have any expressions at all.

The theater immediately froze up at Izuku's on screen expression.

"Midoriya..?" Iida asked hesitantly, looking at his friend in worry. "Yes Iida?" He answered, turning his head towards his friend, still empty. "Bakubro, what'd you say to him?" Kiri asked, skeptical of his friend. Bakugo stayed silent as he looked at his former best friend. The class sighed deeply. Then Aizawa walked in. "What happened?" He asked, looking done with life as he glanced over his students. "Bakugo said something to Midoriya and now he's not showing any emotions." Kaminari said, fear and worry in his eyes. Aizawa walked over to Izuku, who simply looked up to him with a blank gaze. "Problem child, what did he say?" Aizawa asked. "He told me to jump off a building." The broccoli boy responded in a dull voice. "WHAT?!" The entire class shrieked, turning to Bakugo. "No way! Bakugo can be a bitch sometimes but he'd never say something like that!" Mina tried defending the explosive boy beside her, although her gaze held a little uncertainty. "Believe what you want." Izuku said, standing up and opening the classroom door. "Where are you going problem child?" Aizawa questioned him. "The dorms" He replied, before walking away.

The people in the theater held painful expressions.

"He looks so empty..." Shoji said.

"He's showing less emotion than Todoroki did at the beginning of the year" Denki commented.

"Son..." AFO uttered quietly, looking at the screen with eyes full of sadness.

Izuku was walking down the hall when All Might turned the corner. He spotted his successor and walked over to him. "Hello Young Midoriya! Why aren't you in class?" He asked loudly. "Hi. I'm going to the dorms" Was all he said. All Might looked confused at the answer from his normally very excitable successor. That's when he got a view of his expression. Or should I say, lack thereof? "Y-young Midoriya?" All Might stuttered upon seeing Midoriya without any emotions. "Yes?" He answered dully. "I-it's nothing. Don't worry about it." Clapping him on the shoulder. Izuku nodded and then walked off.

"It hurts to see him like that" Toga whispered, tears pricking the back of her eyes.

"I know Toga, I know." Dabi whispered back, pulling the girl into a hug.

"Okay, let's move onto the next universe." Nova said, smiling slightly.
