19|Months later

Y/n's Pov:

I'd kinda forgotten about and what happened, but we didn't talk to each other. We still went to school together we just acted like we didn't know each other anymore, it was quiet on my walks home without him... Sometimes I'd even go to that tree sometimes but never to hang out at, I walked to school to see Dante catching up with me.

"Hey" he said almost out of breath, I smiled "Hey..." it was silent again "Soooooo you wanna hang out later after school?" He hopped in front of me while I stopped so we didn't stumble on each other. "Um.. actually I cant I have a lot of homework to-" he giggled rolling his eyes, "Please!? For me.. Your bestie" he gave me 'the puppy dog eyes' I tilted my head "Fine" he got happy and started walking again.

My last period today was science, and Mr. B wanted us to do a project that involved partners, I at least hope that we'll get to choose our partners instead of him picking for us. "Ok class, so as you all know we will be getting our partner for this project. And I have chosen your partner for you" the entire class turned into a moan and groan as he said that.

"So we have Brody and Dilton, Cameron and Blake, Chelsea and Dante, then Aidan and Y/n. Any questions?" The bell rung "Ok so make sure you're coming up with ideas with your partner over the week" I got up from my seat going to his desk, "Yes miss Y/l/n?" He asked, I took in a breath. "Can I have someone other than Aidan maybe Mr. B?" He put his paper down that he was looking at. "No, everyone got a partner ok?" I didnt feel like arguing so i went to meet Dante at the park.

When I got there I saw his partner for the science project, but that wasnt the only lab partner I saw. There I saw Aidan sitting not really paying attention to what was going on around him. "Hey Y/n! You finally made it slow poke" Dante joked, I smiled faintly and sat with everyone, "So, I brought chips, candy, sandwiches, and dont worry Aidan I made vegan sandwiches just for you, and then soda" he practically brought a whole other backpack with him.

I was wondering why he had another bag with him today, I put on my sweater since there was a tiny breeze and saw Aidan look up at me "Cold?" He asked I stared into his green eyes trying to same something until I felt Dante toss a soda can into my lap, "Stop flirting and admit each others feelings" Dante said drinking his orange fanta while me and Aidan stared at him. "Really!?" Both of us said now looking back at each other now stuck again, "See?" I heard Dante's partner say for science.

I'd had enough and got up grabbing my stuff heading home, I heard Dante call for me to come back but ignored him and kept on walking. I heard my phone rang in the middle of walking, I stopped to see who it was. "Unknown" I shoved my phone back in my pocket letting it ring, it stood but then rang again. I looked and it was the same "Unknown" caller.

I finally answered "Hello?" No one responded, "Look stop calling and leave me alone" right before I hung up I heard music, like someone was playing it. I held the phone against my ear hearing a guitar, "Wise men say, only fools rush in... but I, cant help... falling in love with you... Shall I stay? Would it be a sin, if I, can't help... falling in love with you..." it brought tears to me that it was Aidan.

I stood there crying with the phone still by my ear, knowing what I've done, even after leaving him like that he still loved me. "Y/n.. i doubt you're listening but i was writing this for you before we started dating. The minute I saw you at that airport I knew we were meant, I get it if you don't want me anymore. I'm usually just known as the boy next door like you say."

I opened my mouth trying to say something but nothing came out, I hung up the phone going back to the park.
