Bloodline

You awoke in a panic. It took you a moment to recollect where you were. 

Ah. Right. Kylo's prisoner that he cant seem to kill and likes to touch inappropriately. Living the dream over here. You thought sarcastically to yourself. 

For the first time in several days, you had a good nights rest. Your body seemed to hurt a little less also. Interestingly enough, new wounds were healed every morning. Odd. You lazily rolled over to grab your gown on the night stand. Pushing yourself off the edge of the bed, you headed into the kitchen to pour a pot of hot caf.  You stared at the pot. It was empty. You had no idea how to use this machine. Back on your village, you made caf the old-fashioned way, with Mati. She made the best caf. She made the best everything. You missed her. You missed your home. The brook. Your favorite mossy spot where you would lay and just drift into nothingness. 

You were suddenly jerked away from your thoughts by a strange voice.

"Come find me when you're ready."

You jumped. The hair on the back of your neck stood up and goosebumps trailed all over your body. 

"Hello?" you said aloud. 

Faint whispers coming from outside your room beckoned out to you. Without thinking, you began slowly walking in the direction of the voices. Louder. 

"Who is it?" you asked as an uneasy feeling began forming in your stomach.

Gently pushing the door open, you found that no one was outside your door.

"Closer, child."

You realized the voice wasn't coming from the hall, but from Kylo's quarters. You checked the band on your wrist.

6:30am.

Kylo would most likely be in the training room. You could probably sneak in and see where the noise was coming from. Bad idea sis. You ignored your conscious and reached out for the door knob. To your surprise, it wasn't locked. You gently pushed it open and stepped inside. It was dark, except for the Orb. The orb was bright and pulsating, and an intangible energy was swirling all around it.

More whispers. Coming from the Orb. Calling out to you. 

"Who are you? And what do you want from me?" You asked in confusion and frustration.

"I want you to give me everything." It whispered back.

 You began slowly walking towards it, finding yourself in a trance. Unable to break the pull this energy had on you. You reached out, pausing for a moment before stretching out your hand to touch the Orb. Suddenly it grabbed you and flung you back into mid air, pinning you there with your arms and legs splayed out. Purple and silver threads of energy roped around your arms and legs and made its way to your head. You screeched in anguish as the orb began to show you images. 

Past. Present. Future.

It took you all the way to the beginning.

The origin of the Force. The cosmic Force.  Midichlorians. The creation of the Living Force. The cycle within it. How life eventually fades and becomes death, which feeds into new life. The establishment of the Jedi, and the Sith. It showed you wars, past and future. It showed you the rise and fall of Legends in the Force, both in the dark and the light. It showed you the raw power that is available to those whom the Force chooses to represent it. It showed you Kylo's childhood. How he came from the light but fell to the dark, and the events that pushed him to that decision. It showed you the seduction of the Darkside and the complacency of the Lightside. It showed you your childhood, all the way up to the attack on your village a few days prior. It showed you how your grandmother had been a Jedi but had gone into hiding during order 66 and shut herself off from the Force to protect you. How your father had left when you were a small toddler because the Empire was looking for him and he didn't want them to know about you. The importance of your bloodline. Suddenly, the vision went blank, and fear crept into your bones. A familiar darkness, one you had seen in a reoccurring dream, began to wrap around you. The vision swept you away to a place beyond time or space. A vacuum. You began drifting there. Weightless.
