Chapter Ten: Sing Sing

a/n: lmao i fell asleep while editing this chapter before publishing it. that's why there is a few hours delay.

Same time. Same people. Same order of events. Different location. Getting disrupted from work just to meet with the titan shifter who always seemed to want to have an unplanned meeting was getting annoying. It happened so often that it felt like it was planned at this point. With an officer trailing behind (Y/N), she walked outside into her private garden. Eren was told to meet her there after she confirmed to see him. She made sure to keep him waiting for a little while just to tick him off. He was disrupting her work anyway. Once she saw the eighteen-year-old, she told the officer to continue his duties as to leave them alone.
(Y/N) walked up behind him, and the sound of her footsteps alerted him. He quickly got up from the bench and turned around to face her. She walked around the bench to stand in front of him and he bowed his head in respect,
"Your majesty." Eren said, "Thank you for agreeing to meet with me."
She slightly nodded her head,
"Of course..." She said, "I seem to see you more often than I see my husband."
She signaled for him to start walking with her. They started to walk along the path, with his hands cupped behind his back and hers holding her purse in front of her. Eren had to let out a small laugh at her remark,
"Is it a bad thing?" He asked.
She glanced up at him,
"More like depressing." She joked.
They started to walk alongside the hedges, underneath the glow of the sunset.

She cleared her throat,
"You came for a reason, I hope." (Y/N) said, looking up at him.
"Multiple, ma'am." He said, "I'd like to discuss about a few things."
"Go on."
Eren looked out to the sun,
"The military police are planning on feeding Zeke to you as soon as possible once he arrives here." He said, "You can run or fight them back."
She glanced up at him,
"I know." She said, "But I'm not planning on doing any of those."
(Y/N) took the lead in walking them to a more secluded area,
"Personally I...Don't care what happens to me." She said, smiling slightly, "I will argue that my views on titan shifters being fed to the survey corps officers or commanders would be much better for this country to thrive."
Eren followed her up to the fence, and the two of them leaned against it. She laughed a little, the unhappiness of knowing the future could be heard from it,
"But if they don't accept it." She started, looking up at him, "Then I will have no other choice but to accept fate."
"And you're okay with that?" He asked.
"I have no choice but to be okay with it...What about you?"
"...No, I'm not fine with it."

(Y/N)'s eyes widened for a split second but they soon softened. The scowl on his face and shadowed eyes clearly showed that he was angry at the topic,
"I...Will destroy the world." Eren said, "All our enemies. Everybody outside of Paradis. No one shall be left alive. No one."
Her heart started racing at his words as she felt distress. Mostly anger overtook her in that moment as she reached her hands out towards him, but didn't dare to touch him,
"That's wrong!" (Y/N) said in a troubled voice, "You understand that you'll be killing millions of innocent people, right?!"
She grabbed onto Eren's forearm, tugging on his sleeve to force him to face her. She glared right at him as he turned his head to look at her with a guilt-free face,
"You will not only ruin your life, but my life and everybody else's." She exclaimed.
"I'm well aware of that." He said, "But I don't care as long as I eradicate the hatred outside of this island for good."
"I won't allow you!
(Y/N) slipped her hand down his forearm and onto his hand, gripping it to access the memories. The same electrifying feeling nearly four years ago was still the same. They both saw the same thing; the future of his plans.

She quickly moved her hand away once the memory flooding stopped. Eren could feel her fear and fury. The moment she moved her hand away, he quickly reached out to grab it again. He grabbed it with such force and anger that something else happened. The scenery around them changed. (Y/N) was not fazed by the different change of places, but he was. Everything was...Blue and purple, with a tree of light nearby them. It ended as soon as it started, with her pulling her hand away and then returning back to Paradis,
"The power I have is far greater than what you will ever gain in your whole life." She said, "When the time is right, I will stop you myself, Eren. You will never succeed with the Rumbling, you piece of shit."
He took a step closer to her, his presence becoming more frightening,
"I don't believe that you can stop me." He said.
(Y/N) reached her hand up to grip the fabric of her clothing in anger,
"You can think about it, but the moment it happens, you'll be too busy being on your knees." He said, leaning in close to her.
She didn't waste any time by moving her hand up and smacking Eren across the head with her purse,
"I'll kill you!" She yelled, "You know what I possess. Do you really want to test me?!"
