"A letter from the queen, captain."

"Thank you."

The scouts returned from Marley earlier that month. The mission was a success, and (Y/N) was so happy with the outcome that she wrote each one of her high-commanding officers and commanders a personal letter. She was now seven months into her pregnancy, and at this point, was even too tired to do basic activities. Besides that, her and Levi wrote as often as they could to each other. The letters could only be sent out twice a week, but they made the most of it.
He got handed over the letter from the solider and walked a few feet away from everybody to read it in private. His eyes read each word carefully, making sure to understand every sentence that she wrote. (Y/N) started off the letter with some good news about the pregnancy, and wishes how Levi was there to witness the process of it all. She then asked how he was, and hoped that he was doing well before jokingly complaining about the government, then seriously complaining about how lonely she felt without him or Historia. Wishing to see him soon, she ended the letter about how excited she feels when thinking about him late at night, and can't wait till he is in her embrace again.
Levi folded the paper with a blush on his cheeks, and stuffed it in his pocket. He also cannot wait until they can see each other again. It has been far too long.

Sitting on a crate while reading a book, as well as sipping on some coffee, was Zeke. He looked up from the book when he heard Levi walking towards him to sit on the crate on the opposite side of the bonfire. The blonde was confused as to why the captain was keeping in such good contact with (Y/N). He shut his book,
"You always get letters from the queen." Said Zeke, "It seems that she likes you, Levi."
"I would be concerned if she didn't." He said, not amused with the conversation spark.
"Why's that?"
"'Cause she's my wife."

It was quiet on the farm aside from the occasional dogs barking at the birds. The rays of sunlight beamed through the bedroom windows, shining right on (Y/N)'s figure as she laid peacefully atop of the covers on her bed. She had a pencil in her dominant hand, and a baby catalog in the other. She was already planning on buying items for her and Levi's soon-to-be newborn baby. Gender-neutral, of course, for as they didn't know the gender yet. As she circled items that she wanted and made mental notes to herself, there was a soft knocking at her door. She didn't bother sitting up straight or looking at the door before answering,
"Come in!" (Y/N) yelled, continuing her shopping.
The wooden door opened to show a military police officer. He walked a few feet into the bedroom and stood at the foot of her bed before bowing down to her,
"Commander Hange Zoë from the scouts called in an urgent manner." He said, "They refused to explain the situation to us, and wished to talk to you immediately, your majesty."
"Urgent?" She asked, looking up at him, "How urgent?"
"Not to sound rude, ma'am, but if they had to call you all the way from a restaurant in Shingashina district, I assure you that it must be pretty important."

The catalog and pencil were placed on the bed as she sighed,
"I understand." She said, "I hope it's nothing too bad."
(Y/N) slowly sat up and moved her legs over the bed to get up. The officer walked over to her side of the bed and helped her walk out of the room. She grabbed onto his hand and walked down the hallway to get to the stairs. The door shut behind them, and she turned her head to see that there was another officer who was now following behind them. It was normal at this point when she needed two officers to be with her wherever she was due to the pregnancy.
The three made their way down the stairs step-by-step to avoid (Y/N) from falling, and they safely ended up at the door to her office. The officer behind them quickly walked up to the door to open it for her, and she entered alone, leaving the two of them to guard it from outside. She shut the door behind her and walked over to her desk. She didn't want to sit down for this phone call. Her anxiety started rushing through her body as she moved the phone closer to the edge of the desk and picked it up to place it against her ear,
"Yes?" (Y/N) asked.
It was silent for only a moment, and that made her even more on edge,
"Hello?" She exclaimed in a worried tone.
