"Look sweetheart, what you did, was wrong. And I got you out of jail. But I can't let you walk away like that. So you're doing community service. Six months." Officer Knight said to me when I was in his house.
Being in his house when you know you're in trouble, is very scary.
I pulled up into my driver way and saw Ms. Parker in her driveway, looking stressed. "Is something wrong Ms. Parker?" I asked her.
"Oh sweetheart, my car isn't working and I need to pick up Peter from Sea Pines, and I got a ride to work, which should be here any minute." She said stressing out.
"Want me to pick up Peter for you?" I offered her. It's the least I could do.
"Are you sure? It won't cause you any trouble right?" She asked. I knew inside she was probably like, "You better pick him up." But on the outside she's acting sweet. I know the mom thing.
"It's okay. Sea Pines? On Main Street right?" I said, backing out of the driveway. She nodded and I left. Sea Pines? What could he be possibly doing there on a Saturday. It's probably a place for bad boys.

"What is taking him forever?" I asked myself. I've sat here for at least fifteen minutes, and he still wasn't here. I'd better go inside. I made my way to the door, when a saw a poster.

Well then. I walked in threw the front door and walked up to a desk. No one was there. I picked a brochure and skimmed threw it.
"Hey there," a friendly voice said behind the desk. "Sorry. We're short on staff, so it's hard to manage this. How can I help you?"
"I'm looking for Peter Parker." I said to her. She started typing, then looked back at me.
"Peter Parker. He'll be here momentarily. Anger management started a little late today. You can have a seat, he'll be here soon."
I was about to make my way to my seat when I once again thought of what Officer Knight said. Community service. "Hey," I said turning back. "I've got community service, and you need help. What do you say?" I didn't know how to ask.
"Sure. That's amazing. How about Monday's, Wednesday and Friday?" She asked me and I nodded.
Moments later, Peter walked out. "What are you doing here?" he asked, madly.
"Here to pick you up." I said with a perky smile. He didn't look to happy.
"Why?" He asked.
"Why?" I repeated his question. "Your mom is late for a meeting, so I came." I smiled.
"I'm walking." he said to me, then walked away.
"What? Why?" I said, running after him.
"Look." He said, stopping and turning at me. "I don't want to go home with you, okay? So leave, me, alone." And with that, he stormed off.
What the heck was that? All I was doing was helping him, but no, he had to give me all that, and then some.
