"Did you force your dad to move here?" I asked Ashley. I knew Ashley was totally heartbroken when I told her I had to move. And now that she's telling me they're moving here, it seems to planned. "I swear, it was all a coincidence." Ashley said, looking threw my room. Ashley stopped by once they arrived here. But she had to leave soon, unpacking work. "But it would be awesome if I got plan this." Ashley said, getting up. "My best friend had to go through so much pain, and I wasn't here for her." She said hugging me. I smiled and hugged her back.
I thought about what happened back in the house, while I was walking to the cemetery. I walked over to Spencer's grave and placed down the rose. "Hey buddy," I said, down on my knees, "Mom seems to be really excited these days. I think something big is going to happen." I talked to Spencer for about twenty minutes, then I decided it was time to leave. As I got up, I noticed Peter, two rows back, like before. I walked over a little closer.
"... I know that what's not what you want to hear. I shouldn't have mentioned it was four days till the anniversary. But there's seven days till your birthday. That's something great to hear right? Well, I got to go. Paige came back." And with that Peter got up and left. I quickly ran up to him.
"Hey Peter." I said, trying to sound a little happy.
"What?" He said to me annoyed. I just 'hi' I didn't bite you.
"Look, you don't have to say anything. But let me say something, okay?" I asked him. He didn't say anything. Just kept his angry face on. "You need to let everything out. I don't mean tell me. Just tell... someone. Clearly, this is eating you up. Just talk to someone. Or just make them listen, if you don't want an answer. Someone you know that will listen. It'll make you feel better." I said, then walked away.
"Wait." Peter said, as I was walking off the path. I turned around to look at him.
"Come on." he said.
"Where?" I asked him. You don't just say 'come on' and expect people to follow you.
"It's getting cold. And you're wearing a sweater. Let me drop you off home." I shook my head. "Come on, you're wearing a thin sweater." I shook my head once again. "I'll pick you up and put you in the car." No way I'm letting that happen, so I walked over to his car.
When he parked in the driveway, before getting out of the car, I turned to him and said, "Talk to someone. And take a nap or something. You also need to rest." Peter nodded his head. Then I walked off into my house.
When I got into my room, I looked threw the window to make sure he was going to rest. When I looked through, I saw him making his way to his bed. Good. At least he listened.
Peter POV
Victoria raised her hand to give a slap. No way I was letting his happen. I quickly walked on over and grabbed her arm. "You don't dare to touch her." Victoria just looked at me like I slapped her in the face. I dropped her arm.
"What, what are you doing Peter?" She said, in her innocent voice. Oh please, like I can't tell between real and fake.
"No one touches her." I said to her, giving her one last glare. Then I turned around and put my arm around Jackie and walked off.
"Thanks man." Jackie said to me with a big smile.
"No problem." I said messing up her hair.
"But what did you even do to get in trouble with her?" I asked Jackie, but she just looked away. "Hiding secrets from me are we?" Jackie just blushed. I know she'd never tell me.
