(Something I found out 'bout Menvra-
Currently, Uzanin knows little or nothing that he is actually experiencing the effects of an age old curse. It was thought to strike his ancestor, however it had a much more dramatic effect by jumping to every generation after the Inksmith. The curse is the "Tsundere's Curse" which causes the troll a difficult time attaining a matesprit or being able to communicate on a romantic level with fluent words of affection. These words, such as "I love you" or "I want to be your matesprit" will twist into kismesis phrases such as "I fucking hate you" or "Go and rot in a ditch, Fucktard."
The curse only affects the outward appearance and the tongue of the troll. Horn growth also slows down [this is why his horns are still up there and not drooping down like his ancestor's]. It does not change any matesprit feelings a troll may have for another troll. But it may allow the troll to have a hard time expressing "happiness" or "love". Any affection made will automatically be replayed with a hate-filled tone of voice or sarcasm.
Swearing and use of foul language is another effect which will be sure enough to keep any potential love interests at distance. There will be an occasional depressed atmosphere, but it will always change quickly if the troll is feeling anything but love or happiness. However, to have the curse, it means that one has a great fear of death itself. The troll would rather abandon others in the sake of his or her life unless he or she truly loves the one in danger.
The curse can be broken only one way. And that way is if there is a death or life sitation with a fellow troll. The troll knows that there are two solutions. Either abandon his or her friend, or sacrifice their life for the life of their friend. This is a difficult curse to break in which the troll finds fear of death as the root of their inner darkness.
When they overcome that fear, then they will be free.Interesting right?)
