[Not sorry--]
"Mom, I'm no longer a young wriggler. I don't need a grubsitter just because everyone's going out with their moirails!" Tadashi huffed quietly, arms crossed over his chest.
Kankri gave a quiet sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Sweetheart, you nearly burned the house last time-"
"That was an accident!" A slight pause. "...#interrupting.." He's just like his gog damn mother, I swear--
"I know it was an accident, Tadashi, but no one in this household could afford it if it were to happen again."
"Ya, little shrimp." Nyi chuckled, leaning on the doorframe to Kankri's study. "None of us really have a job, y'know?"
The little Makara pouted before sighing, looking at the ground with his arms at his side. "Humph..."
A soft knock was heard on the door and Kankri smiled slightly. "Ah, they're here. Be good for them, okay Tadashi?"
"Okay mom..."
