"I'm leaving for Cancun, Tadashi, I told you earlier today." Kankri murmured, resting his bags against the door.
"You did, but I still don't know why." The troll frowned slightly, watching as his patron moved about the hive.
Tikore was on the other side of the young Makara, nose crinkled at his moirail. "Neither do I, and I deserve an explanation."
"I just...need some space is all. Some time to do what I've done in the past..." The mutant's eyebrows furrowed together slightly.
Tadashi's shoulders slumped a bit, looking lost and saddened. "Did...Did I do something...?"
"What? No! Of course not!" He quickly hugged his son close and kissed the top of his head. "I could use a vacation is all.."
The seadweller watched them before pulling the Vantas away from the other, eyes narrowed. "You're upset aren't you."
"No! Why--"
"When do you need a vacation, huh? You love it here and enjoy doing your studies in the study!"
Kankri sighed and gently pushed the other away. "I'm fine, alright. I really just need-"
"You're not fine!"
