"Momma?" Cordelia asked with her face in a frown.

"Momma?, why again did you say I had to leave?" Cordelia continued.

"Child, I've told you like hundred times already", Mrs Blessed replied annoyingly.

"I know, but may you repeat...just one more time?" Cordelia begged.

"Cordelia, I said you had to leave because this place will not get you anywhere in life."

"Why?, Why won't it get me anywhere in life?"

"Because we live in Congo, even if you worked, you wouldn't earn much."

"Hmm", Cordelia didn't want to move out, but what choice did she have?

"You will go over to Great Britain and study, and if you wish, you might come back."

"Okay, mom, if you say so.", Cordelia replied sadly.

For about half an hour, she and her mother stayed silent without saying a word, and she seemed sad as if she also didn't want her to go. It was as if they had no choice.
