"Actually-", She grinned moving away from him.

"I didn't ask you for help, so...you did it with your free will, meaning you ought to apologise to yourself."

"Also, don't you come that near to a woman again. It's called personal space." Cordelia continued.

She hoped she would never meet this chap again.

Cordelia walked off without looking back.

Once Cordelia got out of the airport she searched for a street called Albion, and when she found it waving her hand she tried to stop a taxi, but none was waiting for her.

A tiny droplet of water fell on Cordelia's dark cheek.

"Just excellent", she thought.

Before she knew it, it was pouring.

Cordelia set down her small red bag on the ground and pulled out her rain jacket.

Cordelia adored this burgundy coat.

It looked professional and ideal for a dame.

Her mom had got her it on her 19th birthday with her hard-earned cash.

Cordelia waited for nearly an hour. Jairus stopped in front of her with his seemingly new Mercedes.

She looked him dead-straight in the eye, gave him a mocked smile and looked away. She was not going to beg him to enter his car. Also, you never know, he might be a kidnapper! Crystal thought.

Cordelia went to sit on the coffee-coloured wooden bench near the bus station. The red car was still there.

Cordelia cocked her eyebrow, visibly annoyed.

"Just stand up.", he said with one arm stretched out to the wheel, looking forward.

She was considering it, but she stayed seated, but he still didn't move.

"Ugh.", Cordelia groaned, lazily she stood up and stomped over to the car. She could see him chuckle in the vehicle.

He was gassed at the situation.

She entered the seat beside him and slammed the door.

Jairus looked at the backseats, confused.

She knew what he was thinking, but she didn't want to tell him she was scared of sitting at the back of cars.

She hasn't trusted anyone enough to say it.

"Are you going to drive or not?" Cordelia asked.

Jairus

Jairus smiled softly when Cordelia stepped into the car, but his face turned back to ice-cold when she sat. He wasn't going to let her know that he was sorry. His dad always made him pay for all his father had done for him. When he got a birthday gift, he would payback. His father wasn't happy that his child didn't come out as white which was ironic since his mother was Nigerian.

He thought it was normal.

Jairus thought, "I will make it up to her without saying sorry."

Jairus looked confused at the backseat. Did she want to sit next to him, or was there something wrong?

"Are we going or not." he heard her utter softly, obviously growing angrier.

He stepped on the peddle, not wanting the woman to get angrier.
