Cordelia

Cordelia smiled at Jairus, who was resting right next to her.

He seemed to be a rather beautiful man, but just like every alien, she would perhaps never see him again.

Cordelia stretched out her hand to wake him up when his eyes fluttered open.

Confused, Jairus glanced at her hand.

Grinning weirdly, she withdrew it as quick as she stretched it out.

"Well, bye then.", Cordelia said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

"Farewell, indeed.", Jairus replied, uninterested.

Cordelia stood up gently and reached up to her baggage with was above the sky-blue seats.

Accidentally, Cordelia slipped, and the baggage was about to drop.

Startled, she shut her eyes quickly and braced herself, not moving from the spot.

After 5 seconds, Jairus said, "You can open your eyes now."

Cordelia opened the first and then the second eye.

Jairus had caught her baggage.

Embarrassed, she took it out of his hands.

"Are you not forgetting something?" he asked her weirdly.

Cordelia frowned, not knowing what he might be implying.

With a stern expression, Jairus stood up and moved closer to Cordelia until their noses were nearly touching.

"...What are you doing?" Cordelia stuttered.

Ignoring her question, Jairus replied, "You forgot to say sorry. I never help people for free."
