Rose walked into her dad's store and greeted Maria. She sat on the counter near the cash register. ''Happy birthday Rose'' Maria smiled

''Thanks, Maria'' Rose smiled back.

As Maria and Rose were having a genuine conversation, Max walked in. ''Off the counter, Rose''

She rolled her eyes and jumped off the counter, leaning against it, instead.

A young woman may be in her mid-twenties, came to the register, wanting to buy 'Alien' Rose went behind the counter and scanned the item '' good choice'' Rose smiled. '' I know, right? I can't wait to watch this. I'm watching it on my own. I might regret it though'' the woman laughed

Rose laughed with her '' Don't get nightmares. That's 5 dollars 80''

The woman handed her the money, thanked her and left. Rose opened the register and put the money in it. The familiar noise of motorcycles got louder. She looked up and the boys were parking their bikes, waiting for her.

''Dad that's my ride'' she looked towards Max excitedly.

Max walked up to her and kissed her head. '' You run along now. If for whatever reason you want to stay over, your room will always be free'' he smiled down at her '' Fair warning I will be using the shower at yours. There's no way I'm showering in that cave'' Rose laughed and walked outside.

She walked towards the boys and ran into Paul's arms. ''Happy birthday girl'' Paul yelled as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Rose giggled ''C'mon its fucking cold. Let's go to the cave''

'' Shouldn't be saying bad words kitten'' David smirked. Rose turned into a bright shade of pink and ignored his words.

She climbed on the back of Dwayne's bike and wrapped her arms around his waist. She would usually go on the back of David's, but she was too embarrassed to.

Dwayne smirked and turned on his engine, as did the other boys. And off they went. Rose screamed at the top of her lungs with Paul and Marko. She loved the thrill of the adrenaline rush.

After the ride, they got off the bikes and went into the cave. Marko helped her jump the rocks while Paul and Dwayne lit the barrels for light. And David sat on his 'throne'.

As everyone settled down, Marko ruffled Rose's hair '' What does the birthday girl wanna eat?''

''How about Chinese?'' Rose replied as she sat next to Dwayne on the opposite side of the couch, putting her feet underneath his leg and he touched her calve.

''Sure thing baby girl'' and he walked out of the cave to get the food.

David lit his cigarette. ''You ready for your birthday present then?'' he smirked.

''Sure am. Can't wait'' She smirked back.

''Good'' he replied and exhaled his smoke.

Paul grinned and took out his weed from his jacket pocket. ''Gimme some Paul''

Paul chuckled and shook his head '' Nah it's bad for you baby girl. Gotta keep those lungs healthy''

'' I'm literally turning tonight. Plus I've had harder stuff than that'' Rose pouted.

Paul thought for a moment then looked down and smiled while shaking his head. ''I might consider if you say please''

Rose rolled her eyes ''Please gimme some weed''

Paul smirked and handed her some. She thanked him and lit it to smoke. After she had a few puffs, she handed it to Dwayne who had a big puff and handed it back to her. After some talk, Marko came back
