Chapter 18

A/N - Hey everyone! I sort of changed I guess you could say a 'weakness' in female vampires. They can stay in sunlight for a certain amount of time but will be very tired and stuff. Just to make it fit in the story more. Enjoy!

Rose got off of Michaels bike and waited for him to do the same. He then grabbed her arm and lead her to an alleyway. He gently pushed her against the wall ''What's going on with me Rose. Don't change the subject I know somethings going on with me''

Rose looked down ''David wants to speak to you'' she said quietly

''Rose, don't fucking change the subject'' he lifted her chin ''tell me''

''Speak to David, he knows'' she looked up at him

He let go of her and huffed, then walking away. Leaving her in the alleyway alone. Rose sighed, god knows what they were planning.

Before she could leave the alleyway, five motorcycles sped past her. Rose rolled her eyes and decided to feed then go back to the cave. She wasn't in the mood for socialising.

She walked to the outskirts of the boardwalk, where there was no one around her. Once she was sure she was alone, she flew in the air, looking for her prey.

Rose quickly flew to her bedroom window at Max's and climbed in. She showered and dressed in new clothes and put on her makeup. She kept hearing voices in her head. It was her mates, cheering for Michael and enjoying the pleasure of eating their prey. Rose rolled her eyes and told them to shut up before going to the cave

She sat on the couch, waiting for her mates. She couldn't brush off the feeling that something was going to happen to Marko. Something bad. She couldn't stop thinking about him.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when the boys entered the cave ''You okay there princess? You look like you've seen a ghost'' Paul sat down next to her slung an arm around her

''Yeah I'm fine'' she kissed his cheek

David sat in his wheelchair and Marko sat on the fountain while Dwayne sat next to Rose, playing with her hair.

''What did you do to Michael'' she asked

''He knows what we are'' David smirked ''It's only a matter of time until he's one of us''

Rose nodded slightly, then she stood up and walked past the fountain, gently pulling Marko's arm indicating for him to follow her. She went to her room Marko following her ''What's up babe'' he smirked

Rose smiled slightly then pushed him on the bed, lying next to him with her head on his shoulder ''I can't stop thinking about you'' she mumbled

''Oh yeah?'' he slyly got on top of her, his hands on her waist and his legs on either side of her

''Not like that'' she giggled, moving a strand of his blonde locks to the side ''I think something bad's gonna happen'' she said, being more serious

''You worry too much baby girl. Nothing bad will happen to me'' he stroked her cheek with his thumb

He leaned in closer to her, their foreheads touching ''Y-you don't know that. I don't want to lose you'' Rose said quietly

''You won't trust me baby'' he said quietly back

He leaned in even closer, his lips brushed over hers ''Don't worry your pretty little head'' he whispered before placing his lips on hers

Rose kissed back, her arms found their way around his neck, deepening the kiss. After a few minutes of kissing, they pulled away ''Let's go see the boys'' Marko mumbled as he got off her, then pulling her up

Holding her hand, Marko lead her to the main room where the boys were laughing and enjoying each others company. Rose let go of Marko and sat on David's lap ''I thought you were mad at me still'' he smirked

''Your too cute to ignore'' Rose mumbled as she buried her face in his chest, taking in his scent

Later that night Rose was half asleep as someone lifted her up, taking her to bed. She felt one of her mates sit her up and taking off her shoes. She slowly opened her eyes halfway. It was David. She closed her eyes again as he laid her down and pulled her duvet up to her neck. He kissed her head ''Night dollface'' he said and left

Rose sat up in the bed. Not in her bed. In Michaels bed. She pulled away from the covers and got up, quietly walking to the staircase. She looked down. Michael, Sam and the boys from the comic book store were in a circle, talking.

''We should kill her now. Get it done with'' The blonde one said

''No! We can't do that! That would piss off the vampires even more'' the brown-haired one replied

''It won't matter because there out for our blood either way'' The blonde one argued

''You're not touching her! She's not a full vampire anyway'' Michael said

''How do you know'' the blonde one raised a brow

''Because he lifted her in the car when it was sunny outside'' Sam defended him

The comic store kids rolled their eyes ''Girl vampires can be outside full or half, but they'll be very run down'' the brown-haired one informed them

''You're not gonna hurt her and if you do I'll kill you both'' Michael threatened

The boys looked at each other ''His protective instincts are kicking in already''

''Am I getting held hostage'' Rose asked while walking down the stairs

''Come near us I'll stake you'' the blonde one warned

''If I wanted to hurt you I would have already done it already'' she rolled her eyes '' and I'm half-vampire and I was forced to change if you were wondering'' she lied

''Rose'' Michael wrapped his arms around her, Rose hugged back

''Please tell me what's going on, unless you want the boys to suck your blood'' she said

''We're here to kill the head vampire'' the blonde one stated

Rose bit her lip ''Easier said than done'' she replied as she was telepathically talking to David

''Yeah well, we're vampire hunters, professionals'' the blonde one added  

''Judging by the onions in the holy water in the bath tub I'm sure you are'' she replied
