GABBY'S POV:
Dally ran off, and fast at that. I was extremely overwhelmed. Harry had harassed me, Dallas thought I was cheating on him. I didn't know what to do.
I broke down crying and the guys pulled me into a tight hug, "hey don't worry Gabby. Dally'll come around. You've just gotta talk to him", Two-Bit explained. My voice was shaky, "but what if he goes off the rails again..? I mean he loves more than anything, and I love him too, but I haven't told him I love him yet so he don't know I do", I buried my face into Sodapop's chest. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and kissed the top of my head, "don't worry Gabs. We'll make sure Dally knows the truth. We'll find him. C'mon guys let's go find Dal".
Sodapop, Ponyboy, Johnny, Two-Bit, Steve and I went running after Dallas. He was long gone by now, but we had to look everywhere, and I wouldn't rest until we did.
DALLAS' POV:
I was broken. I didn't know what to do or where to go, I just kept running. The faster and farther I ran, the more anxious and angry I got. I found a car with the engine on. I jumped into the car, and drove off as fast as I could.
As the car sped up, tears of anger rose to my eyes. I started beating the steering wheel with the ball of my hand and pretended she was beside me, "I love you Gabriella. Maybe it was your contagious laugh, or your ocean blue eyes, or your beautiful smile. Maybe it was your shiny hair, or your soothing voice, or your perfect personality. Whatever it was Gabriella Victoria Curtis, it made me fall pretty god damn hard", I hauled the car to a stop in the middle of an intersection. I slammed my head onto the steering wheel and cried my eyes out. I screamed "I LOVE YOU GABBY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THAT I HATE IT!". I was hyperventilating by now from crying so hard.
As I screamed, I heard the honk of a truck. I looked to the left of my car, and saw a truck coming for me full speed. I tried to move the car forwards, but it was too late.
