Chapter 7

GABBY'S POV:

Soda's helping me cheer up. I'm not as sad anymore since I talked it out. Now, Soda and I were sitting on the couch watching Mickey.

It made me think of Two-bit. "Hey Soda. Where's Two? I haven't seen 'em all day". Him and Steve'll be here later on", as Soda finished his sentence, Steve, Two, and Dally came chargin' through the door. I got up off the couch and jumped on Two's back. "Hey Two look who's on Tv!", Two-bit looked at the Tv and threw me off his back. "MICKEY!!", he ran to the couch and shoved Soda off. "Geez, Two. Lay off..", Soda said as he rubbed his hip he fell on. We all laughed at Soda.

Dally pulled me to the side and said, "hey girly, you alright?". "Yea. I think I'm okay. I'm calling it my 'road to recovery'", I said with a smirk. Dally pat my shoulder and said "good", we walked over to the couch.

PONY'S POV:

" 'ey Johnny. Where's Gabby?". We'd been waiting outside in the front yard of the school for Gabby for about 10 minutes. The buses were about to leave. "I don't know man, but we 'ought get on the bus. We're gonna miss it", Johnny replied. "Well John, we can't just leave Gabby", as I said that, the bus driver honked at us. "Well Pony, either we go now or we gotta walk 20 minutes home". Johnny was right. We got onto the bus and sat down.

When we got home I saw Gabby on the couch with Two, Soda, Dally, and Steve. "Gabby where the hell were ya!?", Johnny hollered. Soda walked up to us and said , "follow me outside". 

Soda, Johnny, and I walked onto the porch. "Gabby saw that dumb socs Harry today. The one that she was dating", Soda explained. I was confused, "wait Soda. What do you mean 'was'...?".

Soda continued his sentence, "He was makin' out with that other dumb socs Cherry". When Soda told me Harry cheated on Gabs, I was enraged. "Don't tell Gabby ya know yet though. She's only told Dally and I", Soda explained. Ignoring what Soda said, Johnny and I looked at eachother and burst inside.

"HARRY CHEATED ON YOU WITH CHERRY?!", we said it synchronized. I felt kind of bad though because Gabby looked as pale as a ghost after we said that. All the guys turned to look at her. Two walked over and sat beside her, "Gabby why didn't ya tell us?", Two-bit asked. "Well it happened this morning and Soda had just cheered me up, so I didn't wanna talk 'bout it again. The only people who knew were Dally and Soda", Gabby explained.

Steve hollered, "YEEET DAWGYS! DARRY AINT KNOW YET?! THAT 'OUGHT BE INTERESTIN' WHEN DAR FINDS OUT!". Gabby rolled her eyes at Steve. "But Gabby seriously. What'r ya gonna tell Dar?", I asked her. "Well... I don't know. Dar's gonna flip out because he told me from the beginning 'don't date a socs Gabby. It ain't gonna end well'. He was right and now I'm gonna have to listen to him about it. And Darry's gonna get mad and wanna kill Harry for what he did".

All the guys looked at eachother, "uhh Gabby. We're all gonna kill Harry..", explained Dally.  Gabby put her face in her palms. She looked annoyed. "Guys can you stop? I don't wanna make this a battle between the Socs and Greasers..", Gabby said tiredly. Dal said, "that's exactly what it is Foxy. It's always been a battle between the Socs and Greasers. This is just another reason to fight em". "Ahahaha awee yeaaa! Anotha rumble!", Steve said drinking a beer.

As Steve started cheering about a new rumble, Darry walked through the door. "What's this I hear about another rumble?", he said staring at us.

Sodapop, Two-bit, Ponyboy, Johnny, Dally, Steve, and I all exchanged looks. Our faces got as pale as a ghost because we knew, here came the shouting.
