Cassie stood at platform 9 3/4 as she got ready to get on the Hogwarts express.

She hadnt spoken to Caelum for the rest of the break and this was the first time she would be seeing Daphne.

She stood next to Draco as he said his goodbyes to his parents.

Draco heard they were in a fight and came in Cassies room after. He would always be her shoulder to cry on and she would always be his. Thats just how they were.

"Do you want to sit with me and my friends?" Draco asked while Cassie just shook her head.

"No, its fine. Im gonna go find Sam, Ill see you later."

She walked towards the train before seeing Daphne and turning around.

"Cassie?" Daphne shouted as she tried following the girl.

"Cas where are you going?" She asked but Cassie didnt answer she just kept walking.

Daphne finally caught up the girl and gripped her wrist as Cassie abruptly turned around and ripped her wrist from the blondes hold.

"Cas, whats wrong?" Daphne asked sincerely while Cassie just scoffed.

"You can drop the act now Daphne. Caelum told me everything." Cassie said glaring at the girl while the blondes face dropped.

"Oh." She said lowly

"Yeah, 'oh'. Thats what I felt like when I found out my brother and my best friend had been lying to me for months." Cassie sneered.

"Cas, we both really wanted to tell you, we just didnt know how." Daphne said in a regretful tone.

"Yeah, you know what, I really dont want to hear it." Cassie said as she walked past the girl and roughly bumped her shoulder.

She entered the train as she walked down the aisle and looked in each compartment when she saw Thomas and Samantha sitting across from eachother.

She knocked on the conpartment before opening the door "Can I sit?" She asked as Samantha smiled and Thomas nodded.

"Of course, here sit." Samantha said as she motioned to the seat beside her.

"How was your christmas Cassie?" Thomas asked her which filled her mind with memories of her and her brothers fight.

"It was pretty good, and yours?"

"It was great thanks."

It was now later that night and Cassie was doing her charm homework in the library when Joseph sat down from across from her.

She smiled at him and then looked back down at her homework.

"Hey, I didnt see you on the train." He said softly.

"Yeah, I sat with Thomas and Sam." She said as she continued to write on the parchment in front of her.

"Cass, Ive known you since before you could talk. Somethings obviously wrong, whats up?" He asked as she finally looked up from her homework and met his soft eyes.
