Cassie sat by the black lake looking at how most of the trees had grown their leaves back. It was Spring now so flowers bloomed amd the sun shined. It was a perfect morning, not a cloud in the sky.

To be fair she didnt sit outside too much, lack of time purposes. In all honestly Cassie barely had any time to herself at all.

On top of cramming for her upcoming OWLS she had her prefect duties. Not only that but she was in a full time committed relationship so it wasn't odd for her to need some time to herself.

Cassie played with her back against the grass and her hair sprawled out as she stared off into the sky, looking at the different forms of clouds.

She thought about how much her life had changed this year.

In the beginning of the year she was just starting to process her feelings for the bushy haired girl and here they were a few months later happily dating.

Not only had she made major progress in her relationship with Hermione but with her friends as well. The Slytherin group was known for being sort of heartless and just down right discriminative to muggle borns.

She was surprised at how her friends not only tolerated her relationship with the muggle-born but also celebrated it, never missing a chance to reassure Cassie that they were happy that she was happy.

She was brought out of her peaceful bliss when she saw a figure lay down next to her out of the corner of her eye.

"What are you thinking about?" she heard the familiar soothing voice of Cedric Diggory from beside her.

Cassie slowly turned to face him, a smile taking up her face as she softly sighed "Just life right now, how it honestly couldn't be more perfect." She said as Cedric let out a chuckle at her words.

"Seems like Hermiones making you happy." He teased softly nudging her shoulder as the raven haired girl rolled her eyes playfully "Shove off."

The brunette boy laughed "But seriously, how is she?" He asked not preparing himself for Cassie to go into a full on rant about the bushy haired girl.

"Well.." The raven haired girl started "I mean she's absolutely fantastic- No! Perfect! She's absolutely perfect, I mean its like she gets better and better every second. She's so brilliant and she knows what im thinking before I say it. She's honestly like a shot of espresso, she gives me energy- motivation to go on. Its like I wake up to the sun shining on me every morning and she is that sun." Cassie finally finished, a bit out of breath.

Cedric just laid there staring at the girl who looked like she could go on for days. "Your really  in love." He said as she immediately turned to him with widened eyes. "Love?" She squeaked out in a high pitch voice as her cheeks started to heat up.

Sure Cassie knew that she cared about Hermione a lot, so much but she didn't know if it was love. In all honesty love was a bit a foreign concept to the raven haired girl.

Her parents were sent away before she could remember so its not like she's ever gotten any love from them, not that Bellatrix knows what love is either.

She did have Lucius and Narcissa who were good to her but did they love her? Maybe.

Narcissa most likely did, she was a very kind woman despite the man she married. Narcissa always made sure Cassie was comfortable and happy in their home.
