It was now the next week and Cassie really couldn't be doing much better. Her and Hermione had tried to spend every waking moment together. The bushy haired girl started sleeping in Cassies room on weekends only, she wasn't much a rule breaker yet.

Their relationship had been going really well so far. They didn't have too much time together since they were in different years and houses but they made the most out of the time they had.

They usually spent meals together and the pair often had study sessions together in the library. They also spent a lot of their time in Cassies room where they would talk and do a little more than talking.

One thing that was really on Cassies mind was Andromedas letter. She hadn't yet sent a reply and it was only a week before February break. She wanted to know her aunt, truly, but she was afraid of what might happen.

For one, Lucius might find out since he had friends all over London who definitely knew what the raven haired girl looked like. She also had yet to ask Caelum what he though about it, and most importantly if he would go or not.

She could just assume he wouldn't since it would fit his personality but she would much rather go over there with her brother. Cassie decided it ask him tonight so she could reply to Andromeda after.

Right now the raven haired girl was lying on her bed reading some French poetry since she had just finished her homework. A soft knock on the door Brought Cassies attention from the book as she said 'come in'.

Hermione walked into her room with an evil smirk on her face, striding over to Cassies bed with a mischievous expression. "What makes you so happy?" Cassie asked as she put the book down on her nightstand, allowing Hermione to give her a small peck on the lips before sitting next to her against the headboard.

"Promise you won't tell anyone." Hermione said as Cassies face dropped into confusion, not knowing what Hermione meant. "Now your scaring me, what'd you do?" She asked the brunette girl who only shook her head with the same smile "Promise me."

Cassie scoffed and playfully rolled her eyes "I promise, now get on with it." Hermione let out a small giggle "I captured Rita Skeeter in a jar!" She shouted in one breath with a large smile on her face. Cassies face looked shocked to say the least, she had no clue what the bushy haired girl had just said.

"What?" She deadpanned, Hermione just giggling at her response before repeating "Rita Skeeter currently resides in a jar on the windowsill of the Infirmary." She said as the raven haired girl slowly nodded her head, trying to understand what the Gryffindor girl said.

Cassie turned to the girl who was smiling cheerfully.

"So Rita Skeeter.."

"Yes."

"Is in a jar?"

"Yup."

"In the Infirmary?"

"What I said."

"Forgive me if that makes no sense."

Hermione finally explained that she had a theory that Rita was an unregistered animagus for awhile now. She had overheard Rita speaking with Caelum, Crabbe, and Goyle in the basement when she was leaving Cassies room one night which had finally confirmed her suspicions.

It all came together when Cassie remembered how she found a beetle in the bushy haired girls hair during the second task. Hermione told her how she followed the woman to the forbidden forest, waited for her to turn and finally captured her, sealing the jar with the unbreakable charm so Rita couldn't escape.
