The next day I go downstairs and I see that Kai is baking something. "Hello little girl," he says, I look at him and theb look down, what did he mean by 12 days? Am I legal enough to do stuff then? It wouldn't really matter, we're alone.

"Abby," his voice became more raspy, making me a little bit scared. "Uhm, hi," I say suddenly shy, I was still upset about what happened yesterday, since I still don't have a clue what I did, who I am, what my family is, who my family is.

"What do you want to do today?" He says, back to his nice voice. "Nothing special," I look away from him, maybe he knows the answers, maybe he knows a way out, yet again I have no idea what to do.

I look back at Kai and he just stares at me, a creepy stare. I grew really uncomfortable since he was still staring in the next minutes. I decide to leave, take a walk or do something else.

I start to turn around and walk away, until I notice the news paper. I look at it and see an article about Portland. "Is this you? Malachai?" He walks over to me and I frown. "Yeah, but don't worry, like I said I have a soft spot for my sister," I look at the siblings, what is happening? What did he do?

"I hung these two on the stairwell railing, I put a hunting knife in her stomach, oh and him, I drowned him in the pool. A little disappointing he kept struggling, I saved him for last," he was smiling and my heart started to race.

I know he said something about murdering his siblings, but I didn't except him to be so serious about it and happy. "Y-you did what?" I let go of the paper, dropping it. "Yeah, but my other sister, I only cut out her spleen, you can survive without a spleen," I take a step backwards, my mouth was gaping and I didn't know what to do or say.

"I-if you m-murdered your siblings y-you'll kill me y-you'll k-kill me," I say stuttering, not being able to process the information. "Oh my God I'm gonna die," I quickly turn around, running away.

I hide in a closet, holding my breathe, hoping he'd pass this room so I have time to run towards the other side of the world. "Aaabbyyy," Kai said, footsteps walking towards this room.

"You have 3 seconds to come to me or you'll regret it," I close my eyes and put my hand in front of my mouth squeezing my nose shut, so I'd breathe as little as possible.

"Time's up," the closet door flew open and I started screaming. He grabs my arm and yanked me up, when I stood straight he started dragging me with him. I screamed, begged for him to let me go. "Stop!" I scream, trying to hold on to anything.

He stopped in his tracks, making me almost fall over. "If you don't stop screaming I will do worse," I stopped, immediately. He smirks and walks further. I start crying and he just continues to drag me somewhere.

"I'm sorry Kai, I-I'm sorry," I cry, afraid he's going to hurt me. He lifts me up, looks me right into my eye before basically throwing me on the bed. I hadn't even realised that we were in the bedroom, his bedroom.

"Remember what I told you?" I shook my head no, not being able to think straight. "If you don't listen or irritate me. You'll get punished," he has this cocky smirk on his face, and it only scares me.

"I'm sorry," my normally pretty high voice became even more higher, and I closed my eyes. He put one hand on my waist and I inhaled sharply, even though he didn't even do something yet.

"You can't run away from me doll, understood?" I nodded, making him groan. "Say it," he demands, still smirking. "I-I will, I mean I won't, I won't run away," I said trying not to mess up. "You're so pretty when you're so scared," I didn't understand, I thought he was going to kill me.

He chuckles lightly, before getting off of me. "I'm not going to hurt you, not that like that pumpkin," I finally opened my eyes. I didn't understand anything at that moment.

Kai was so confusing, he confused me and I believe he's doing it on purpose. I wasn't aware of how fast my heart was beating, it just did.

I look at him, sighing. "Look, I'm sorry, what else do you want me to say?" I snap when he stares at me too long.

"Nothing, just that we can finally have breakfast," he smiled, grabbing my hand yet again. I immediately shut my eyes closed, but nothing happened.

"I can control when I'm siphoning you, you know that right?" I shake my head no and he scoffs. "Now you do," we get back to the kitchen and he already has two plates set for me and him.

"You're a witch, aren't you?" He asks and I shrug. "I think so," he nods, giving me a cold pancake. "It's good if it's cold," he chuckles, putting a huge amount of jam on it. He rolls it up and gives it to me.

"Thank you Kai," I say smiling sheepishly. I am exhausted, but I was sure it was partly my fault. "Uhm, can I ask you a question?" I ask him while he's also putting jam on his pancake. He started to eat it and smile.

"Sure darling," he said smirking. "What uhm, what do you do to me?" He started to laugh at me, he is actually laughing at me. "Well I want to make you mine, so that's what I'm doing to you," I stare at him, with an empty expression.

"Oh, you mean the siphoning?" He laughs again, I nod and take a small bite of my pancake, it's gross, but I don't want to upset him more than I already have. "I do that to you so I gain more power, I take the magic from you, suck up just enough so you don't die, and I'll be able to do magic," I frown, looking down.

"but I thought you were a witch too, you said you were in a coven, Gemini coven?" He stood up angrily, his eyes filled with unspoken rage.

"I didn't mean to get it so personal, I'm sorry."

"No no it's not your fault," he walks over towards me and turned my chair around. "I don't want to hear that word ever come out of that pretty little mouth of yours okay?" I nod and he sighs. "I'm getting really angry when someone talks about the Gemini coven, they did that to me so I want to do nothing more than to kill them all one by one, slow and painfully, but I can't and I don't want to hurt you,"

He put one hand on my thigh, making me squirm. "Okay, I won't talk about it, sorry for bringing it up," I say while he slowly started to move upwards. "That's alright pumpkin, you didn't know," his hand was still moving upwards, but his eyes were boring into mine.

I took the time to study his face, he has short light brown hair, not dirty blonde nor dark brown, it is just light brown, he has Hazel brown eyes that could look like puppy eyes if he wants too. Then I look at his lips, they are probably very kissable.

"You might want to take a picture, it'll last longer," he says smirking and lets go of my arm. "I have to prepare some things, but I'll see you tomorrow 10 am in the library okay?" I nod, looking at my pancake. "Eat, it's really good," with that he walked away and not later I heard the door close and I quickly throw the pancakes away, gross.
