"Sad attempt in Iron welding," he says and Elena sighs. "I tried to fix it," he says and Kai plays with it a little thing, a few things already falling apart. "I can't bring Bonnie back with this," Kai says chuckling.

"I thought you are the all powerful leader of the Gemini Coven now?" Elena asks, hoping that his pride would be hurt or something so he'd help. "I destroyed this sort hay it couldn't be used again," he explains and Damon sighs.

"Could we use that hunk of junk to send a message at least? It is her birthday," he says trying to guilt trip him, after all he does have feelings now. "It is?" He asks and Elena looks hopeful. "Yeah," he answers. "You should do it," Abby says quietly and Damon nods.

"It's really sad, I mean, Little Bon-Bon, she'll be getting all dressed up for a part no one's gonna show up to, I wonder if she even knows," Damon says while walking to Kai.

"That it is her birthday or do all the days, just blend into one vast sea of misery?" He asks and Kai frowns, feeling bad. "I wonder,"

Kai sighs and looks down, still frowning. "One of the crown wheels survived, that's a positive, plus I am mega powerful," he says and smiles. "Yeah," Damon says quietly. "What do you wanna say?" He asks and Damon sighs.

"Well, Bonnie needs magic to get out. We just need to tell her where to find some," Damon answers and Kai sighs, looking at the Ascendant.

"Okay so we know that Jo stored her magic in a hunting knife, Bonnie sent hers over with miss Cuddles, what receptacle of magic am I not thinking off?"

"Let me give you a hint, scorned lover," Damon says and Abby frowns.

"Katherine?"

"Older,"

"Silas?"

"Hotter,"

"I don't know Silas was definitely hot," Elena says and Abby smiles as she thinks of someone who looks exactly like Stefan.

"Ugh," Damon just answers and Elena smiles. "Qetsiyah," she answers suddenly and Damon clicks his tongue in approval. "Her blood is on Silas' headstone, its filled with magic," she says and Abby nods "Yup, so in bonnie-land that means on an island off Nova Scotia, there's a big magical battery waiting to be tapped, we just need to remind Bonnie of that," Damon says and Elena frowns.

"And what reminded you?" She asks Damon, who was going in defense mode. "I-I was just gonna plan a trip there, change of scenery, only so much you can take of Mystic Falls on repeat," he says and Elena frowns, not believing him.

"Oh, thank God," Kai suddenly says causing them to look at him. "What?" Abby asks confused, eyeing the still not fixed Ascendant.

"You two, together, is still totally revolting to me, finally a familiar feeling, luke didn't take me over completely," he says grinning.

"What the hell is he doing here?" The voice of Jeremy interrupts Abby's question of asking what he means. Kai looks up smiling, "hi,"

"Kai's changed, he's gonna help us," Elena says and Jeremy frowns. "People don't just change like that," Jeremy says eyeing Kai. "People usually don't merge with their siblings either," Damon commented and Abby nodded.

"Uh, for the record. I would had been gine with any of Luke's quality's. You know the hair, the whole gay thing," he says and winks at Abby, causing her to blush and look away. Kai smirks and continues. "You know maybe not the height, actually,"

"You can't buy this," Jeremy says and scoffs. "You don't have to like him, he's going to bring back Bonnie if not send her a message," Abby fires at him. "We should trust the guy that changed personalities over night," he says and Abby frowns. "Stop talking shit about him," she says and Kai brings her to him, holding her tight while looking at Jeremy. "Don't curse," he whispers in her ear and then sighs.

"Think of it, Elena in reverse," Kai says and sits Abby down where he sat. "I know, she was human, pure, dating the good Salvatore," he says and pours in a glass, giving it to Abby. "Drink," he says and looks at them. "Then she became an undead blood-vacuum, stopped caring about the right or wrong, started dating the bad one," he says and smiles.

Abby takes a sip of the bourbon while listening. "It's not how it happened," Elena says and he hums. "Mm, maybe I missed I detail or two, I'm just paraphrasing what Damon told me in the prison world," he says and Elena nods. Abby was done with the glass and put it down.

"Speaking of, there's a witch over there we'd like to save, so why don't you get your Gemini jumper cables and fix that thing?" Damon asks sounding threatening, yet sarcastic. "Okay,"

"Kai? Are you done yet?" Damon asks when Kai starts to light up candles. Abby was fast asleep after he gave her bourbon, he knew she needed sleep and she was starting to get bratty and he didn't wanted to deal with it right now, it was a bad solution but he had other things to worry about.

He was playing with her hair while explaining ghosts to the Gilbert's and Damon. "Close your eyes," he says and starts chanting in Latin.

Abby woke up when she hears yelling, she saw Jeremy laying on the ground and Liv had a fork in her neck. "Kai!" She yells and stands up, gasping when she sees blood on his shirt.

"It's all coming back to me Livie-poo," he says and gets a glass of water, splashing it over her. "You know the charge-"

"Stop it Kai," Liv says

"That races trough your bones,"

"Kai, stop!" Abby says

"At the prospect of watching someone burnt to death,"

"Kai please!" They both yell.

"I really miss that feeling," he says and smiles. He grabs a candle and points it at Liv. "Just kill me Kai," Liv begs and she looked hopeless.

Abby jumped between them, tear stained face already. "Stop, please, hurt me, please," she begs while letting out a sob. "You already killed my best friend, so just do it, get it over with," liv says and Abby wants to pull his arm down, but he moves it away.

"Why can't I do this? I don't care about you," he says towards liv and he looks panicked. "Why can't I kill her? Come on do it, Kai do it," he says to herself and Abby does the only thing she could think of. She blows the candle out and moves her hand, causing it to smash away.

Liv grabs a fork and throws it at kai while chanting. He falls down and she grabs a stick. "Liv no!" Abby screams, ready to be stabbed instead of Kai. Suddenly she sees a knife in liv's shoulder and she looks to see that Jeremy had done that.

They take Kai to the kitchen and lay him down. "Do the spell, please," Jeremy asks and Abby shakes her head. "No, he's dying," she says crying and Kai shakes his head. "Baby, make sure to not let Liv in okay?" He asks and starts chanting again. 

"Kai," she sobs and takes his hand.

She sobbed quietly, feeling exhausted.

A few minutes later or so they all wake up and she smiles, sobbing in his chest. "I'm alright, I'm alright,"
