ABBY

I woke up, soft things surrounding me. I was feeling extremely small, but I didn't want to go into my head space.

Awful memories of what had happened cross my mind and my eyes fly open. I was in a pink room, I look at where I am and I see it's a bed. It has some pillows and soft stuffed animals on it, making me smile softly.

I died, though. I did didn't I?

I slowly get up from the bed and walk towards the door in the middle of the wall, I stop and frown after taking the first step.

My hand flies to my waist and I look down. No blood. Now that I think about it, nothing hurts, not even my head. Did the world decided to bless me?

I open the door and get out carefully. There were more closed doors, but I just walked towards the hall. I stop in front of a door and keep staring at it, suddenly feeling nervous.

"So, are you going in or not?" I gasp and turn around, facing a man. "I- y-yes," I whisper and quickly open the door, to reveal a lot of people sitting and doing their own thing.

"Where am I?" I ask and turn around, looking at the man. "You're in heaven," he says bluntly and I frown. "Heaven? As in the afterlife? I'm dead?" Even though I sort of knew, the words come to a surprise.

"Yes. Heaven and he'll exists," he looks at me boredly and I gulp, nodding. "Thank you sir," he smiles softly and nods.

"Sure thing," he then walks away and I see a woman coming straight towards my direction. I wait a few seconds before turning my head, wanting to walk away because she scares me.

But, she was in front of me in no time, smiling sweetly. "Abby, come with me," she says and I nod, she turns around and I follow her.

She opens some doors and we get to an office. She sits down and I do too. "I'm sure this is all overwhelming, but I'm here to explain for you," she says and I nod

"You have died at the age of 18, very young. You were murdered by your lover Malachai Parker, who is currently burning in hell and you have been sent to a prison world for something you didn't do. I must say, earth really hated you didn't it?" She smiles and chuckles, making me smile too, a very awkward smile.

"Er, I guess," I say and she nods. "Even though you have had your moments. Like falling in love with a psychopath and agreeing on letting him use you, the head department of afterlife didn't think you deserve to be in hell," she explains and I nod.

"Is this a joke?" I interrupt her and she frowns. "What?" She asks and I swallow hard. "Isnt- isn't Heaven supposed to be fake and all? I- I didn't imagine it would be like this," I say and she looks surprised, but also not surprised at all.

"Oh! No one expects this to be Heaven. But, you'll get used to it. There are different things you can focus on. People who like things organised, people like me, usually join the head of department. Some join the music industry and some do poetry, it's the same as earth, only now you are appreciated and won't be held back to your best self," she says in one breath and I let out a shaky one.

"You are right. It is overwhelming," I say and look down. "What should I do now?" I don't want to work, it's probably exhausting. "Whatever you want," she says smiling and I nod.

I'll just do whatever I want!

Yay me.
