It was 10 am and I was already in the library. Kai however didn't show up. At 10.10 I started going through the library, not really doing anything.
"Catch," Kai's voice suddenly echoed through the library and suddenly I felt wind next to me. With a swoosh sound something came right at me, but by the time I looked to my right, the object was standing still in air.
"Interesting," Kai appeared out of no where and the object fell. I stared at it before looking back at Kai. "What was- how did you- why did you do that?" He chuckles and comes closer. "Al though your body reflex is poorly, your powers are sharp. I didn't make that object stop Abby, you did," I was confused, I did that?
"Its not news, you're a witch, you just have no idea how to use your powers, but I'll teach you, don't worry," he was smiling and I wasn't sure how to react.
"We'll start easy, move that," and so I started to learn. I had to move books, I had to lit up candles and after maybe 4 hours I had both things under control. Kai was annoyed it didn't went fast enough, which made me nervous.
I didn't necessarily wanted to fail, but I was also afraid, the more you learn the bigger you crave right? "Just one more time Ab, come on," I closed my eyes, I was exhausted.
"I-I can't," I said, my head hurt and I was really tired, too tired. "I'm not going to ask again Abby," I took a deep breathe, lifted my hands and tried with all my strength to move the object. It was really heavy and I fell on my knees trying to lift it.
It came up and I looked at Kai for further instructions. "Put it on top of the shelf," he said and I looked at the top. It was really high. I started to lift it and occasionally it fell a little back. My nose started to bleed and I started to grunt.
"A few more feet, come on," I eventually got it on the shelf, and Kai was doing a little victory dance-ish. I chuckled lightly and he laughed. I was growing to like him. He was weirdish.
But when you spent 24/7 with someone who cannot? Besides he's charming, sweet and cute, except he's a sociopath, but not around me, so I'm fine with it. "10 days darling, just 10 days," I nodded and he took my hand.
"What are you going to do in 10 days?" I asked, curious. "You'll see," he kneeled in front of me and I yawned, already tired. "Naw, does this exhaust you?" He asks mocking. "No," I lied, making him chuckle.
He took both my hands and put them around his neck. He lifted me up by putting his hands against my thighs and I immediately responded by putting them around his waist.
I put my head on his shoulder and he started to 'tsk' "I thought you weren't tired," I whined a little in response, already giving in. "Well poor you, because I have some things planned for you," I lifted up my head, frowning.
"Not today cupcake, but I am going to take you home," home... "mm," was all I could say. I started to think about home, what would it take to go back there? Am I still welcome there? Is this just one big nightmare, he can't be a nightmare right?
We walked back to the house and when we arrived I got put back down on the ground, the cold floor. "Stay," he said softly, yet stern. I stayed like he asked me too and I watched him leave.
He came back with a smirk. He picked me up again and took me upstairs. We walked towards the bathroom and I saw the bath was filled with water and it smelled nice. "You go take a bath, when your done we'll do some grocery shopping alright?" I nod and he walks away.
I close the door behind me and see that he had already another set of clothes for me. I slowly started to undress and got into the tub. It was relaxing. I think I fell asleep for a few minutes, but I soon realised Kai was waiting for me.
