Eating dinner with Bonnie and Damon has been a regular thing now. For the past month, maybe even months I've done the same thing.

In the morning I'd hear Bonnie and Damon bicker, in the afternoon I'd go upstairs to cry and in the evening we'd eat together. I sat across Damon when Bonnie gave us a bowl with food.

She sat next to me. Bonnie and Damon had wine and I had a coke. Eating in silence has become a regular thing.

"I miss them too you know?" She asks Damon and he looks at her, nodding without saying something. He takes the paper and smiles lightly.

"Look who got 27 across," he says huffing. "I wish, 27 across is a rock," Bonnie says sad. "I am pushing up an endless mountain," I frown at Damon before taking a bite. "An old tongue twister Eddie turned top 40, Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam, Yellow Ledbetter, good job," Bonnie looks confused making me confused.

Could it be...? "Are you messing with me?" Bonnie asks looking at the paper. "No. Are you messing with me?" He asks before they both look at me. "I-I don't know," I say quietly and look down. "I didn't finish this," Bonnie says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Well neither did I," Damon answers annoyed. "There's someone else here," Bonnie says after a minute of silence. They look around and so do I. Maybe its him. Maybe its actually him.

. . .

Surprise, I couldn't sleep last night. I was somehow excited and also afraid. Was he going to disown me? Be disappointed? I kept quiet for so long and didn't use magic at all. "Abbs, come," Bonnie tells me and I nod. I quickly walk after her into the store.

It reminds me every time of how Kai abounded me. Yay. Bonnie and Damon pushing each other around of who's got the car is also nerve wrecking. "I got it," Damon says continuing to push. "Okay, we need strawberries, eggs, milk, and, ohh, candles," they stop and she gets out white candles.

I take a water bottle and put it in the kart also. "I know its been awhile, but you couldn't do magic as an anchor," Damon starts and looks at me before returning to Bonnie.

"So I'm curious what momentary laps of reason makes you think you can do it now," I look at Bonnie with a smile. "I think she is able to do it," I say and he rolls his eyes.

"You know, when all this started you sucked at making pancakes," Bonnie starts. "And now they're somewhat edible," she says and points at the milk. "Milk," she says and I stop to grab the milk.

"Theres no reason to be Peter Pessimist, we have proof we're not alone," she says and takes a blue sunglass. "First of all, don't nickname, that's my thing," he says catching up with me and Bonnie. He snatches another pair of sunglasses out of Bonnie's hands and puts it on.

"And this 'proof' this mysteriously filled in, crossword could very easily have been you," he says while we walk further. "I didn't fill it in, Bonnie states making me roll her eyes. "Can I sit in the kart?" I ask and they both look at me. "Sure," he says and I smile. I hop in the kart with crossed legs and look at them bickering. "No, you don't know you filled it in," he says contiuing their conversation.

"You also don't know that you talk in your sleep, eggs," he says pointing at the eggs. "What are you saying, I sleep crossword?" I snort and they both give me a death stare. Damon takes his sunglasses off and scoffs.

"I'm saying it makes more sense than the alternative," he snatches the eggs out of her hands and puts it in the kart along with the sunglasses. Bonnie takes of hers and I make grabby hands for it.

She gives it to me and I start to play with it. "I get what you're doing," Bonnie says walking around Damon. "What am I doing?" He asks annoyed. "You refuse to have hope that you'll see Elena again, so you don't have to be disappointed," from the time I've spent with them I heard the name Elena a lot, she must be special.
