𝟬𝟮𝟮. 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗦

Christmas.

Everyone has kept her in the dark. Everytime the mention of Kais name they walk away.

Every day she was locked up in either Mystic Falls or college. It was exhausting. "Guys, if Kai has Jo, we need a plan," I hear Elena say. "Find Kai, pfft, kill Kai, mmm, maybe even the little munchkin too," in a swift second Damon has his arm around her throat and she closes her eyes in response.

"Kai... he's alive?" She whispers and he nods.  "Unfortunately," she tries to fight, but it doesn't matter, he's too strong. "Go, find him in Mystic Falls," Damon says and she frowns. "What?" She asks and he nods. "Go find pork chimes," he says and pushes her out.

"Okay, I will," she says and starts to run. Taking the first bus to Mystic Falls, thankfully it didn't take long.

She hears a knife clatter and she goes to the sound. She takes a deep breathe preparing for whatever is happening in the woods here. She gets closer, closer, almost there...

She sees Liv on the ground and... Kai. She runs into the small building and looks at Jo. What is happening...? "K-Kai?" She whispers and looks at him.

Kai was holding Jo's cheek and magic got sucked out of her body. She didn't even scream... wait a minute, didn't Jo got rid of her magic? Kai stands up ignoring Abby at first. "So predictable, both of you," he looks at Abby and smiles a bit.

She smiles back and looks at Jo. "I threaten Liv, you'd do anything it takes to save Liv," he says and Abby sees Liv chanting and the chains around her get loose. Kai just smirks and motions Abby to come to him.

"Abby? Why are you here?" Jo asks and Abby looks at Kai, not saying anything. She hears a whistle and recognises it as Damons.

Kai walks outside along with Abby and suddenly he gets pushed against a tree, by Damon. "Damon!" Abby gasps and he just smiles. "Cemetery? Really?" He asks and Kai chants and Damon gets pushed back, suddenly he burns and quickly steps back into the normal world, not the anti-magic border.

Kai motions for Abby to follow him and she does, stepping over the line of dirt and next to Kai, across Damon who is standing on the other side of the order.

"Oh whoops. Looks like you found the anti-magic border," he says and smiles. "Drew a line in the dirt for everyone's convenience, see?" He says rubbing his foot in the dirt, smirking the entire time at his small victory.

"Yeah. You're welcome," he says and smiles.

Suddenly Kai is being gripped by Alaric with a gun and Abbys eyes widen. "No-" she says, but Alaric manages to kick her back with his foot and she falls over the border, immediately grabbed by Damon and he held her threatingly

"We know you don't give a shit about her, but it's fun too see her struggle," Damon says smugly and Abbys breathing gets faster. It's not true. It can't be.

"Alaric, don't," Jo says and Alaric looks at her, frowning. "What are you talking about?" Alaric asks and Damon shakes his head lightly. "She's lightheaded and confused, I'll give her some of my blood, okay? Kill. Him." He asks and Abby starts struggling again. "No you can't!" She protests and Jo agrees.

"If Kai dies. Liv and Luke have to do the merge. It's not fair to them," Jo says and Damon pushes his eyebrows together. "Who cares? Kill him," Damon says and the gun clicks. "Rick don't," Jo says and again and Kai just smirks while abby starts to cry silently. "Please, Damon," she begs and still tries to struggle.

"I can win. I can beat Kai, I just need a little bit time to get stronger,"  she says and Abby frowns at Jo, she'll not be able to kill Kai. Never. "We're moved. Truly. Kill him, now!" Damon says again and Kai keeps smiling, having this hot murderer look on his face that says, "ha, you're a joke and you'll never be able to win, I'm just standing here with a gun against my head and you should've pulled the trigger, but you're all stupid," kind of face.
