Chapter 19

Hayes's POV:

'Dani,' I ask? 'Yeah,' she answers? 'Can we read the letter?' She sighs. 'I don't know if I'm emotionally ready,' she says. 'Well just think about it,' I say side hugging her. She hugs me back. 'Wanna go downstairs,' she asks? I shake my head. 'We can ignore Cameron and Hamilton,' she suggests? 'Fine,' I say standing up.

We go downstairs and Nash stands up. 'Hayes we ne..,' Dani cuts him off. 'Sorry but he's not talking to you,' she says sassily. 'Well I still need to talk to him,' Nash says. 'Hamilton he doesn't need to talk to you about anything,' she replies, wrapping her arm protectively around my shoulders.

She leads me into the kitchen and I sit on one of the bar stool. 'Well that went great,' I say chuckling. 'Well I am the sass queen,' she says. 'What about Skylynn,' I ask? 'Shes the sass princess,' Dani answers.

*Later On*
Dani's POV:

Hayes and I are lying on his bed watching a movie. I'm pretty sure he's fallen asleep. He's lying cuddled up to me and my arm is wrapped protectively around him. I use my foot to click the button on the remote, to turn off the TV.
I then close my eyes and slowly drift off into sleep.

Nashs POV:

I haven't seen Dani or Hayes in a while. 'Has anyone seen Hayes or Dani,' I ask? 'Nope,' everyone says. It's only 9pm. I get up and go upstairs. I walk past Danis room and see no one in there. I get to Hayes room and see them on Hayes bed. Dani has her unbroken arm wrapped around Hayes.

I go over and pull the covers over them. Dani stirs but doesn't wake up. I kiss their foreheads and walk out of the room, turning off the light.
