No one's pov:
Nathan shoved his phone in his back pocket and rushed to the library. He felt like he needed some time to think. He was affected by the skinny and tall male. He couldn't comprehend how easily his heart made flips when the name rolled on his tongue. 'Skyler'. He clutched his chest for the hundredth time and ran to the library.

The moment he got in, his eyes travelled to a rather familiar face staring outside the window. He walked up to the person and muttered as loudly as he could since the other was blasting music through headphones. "Hey Violet? Violet?" Violet felt the presence around herself and looked up to see Nathan smiling at her. She removed her headphones and said "oh hey Nathan. What are you doing here?" "Just came. Not sure why but yeah." he chuckled in response. She gestured him to sit besides her as she moved her chair a bit to prove her engagement in the said boy's conversation. "What are you listening to?" Nathan asked. "Oh just a song. Sex Money Feelings Die." she grinned. "Ew..what kind of song is that. Sounds so dark!" "Well it is. But it's a good one to vibe to. One of my favourites these days. Try listening to some day." she chuckled at the grossed out boy. "Maybe some day. Well...Violet..now that you are here, can you help me out a little?" he asked cautiously, not wanting to anger the elder girl. "First of all..what is with the formalities huh? I thought we are friends now! Shoot away buddy. I'm all ears."

Nathan explained every single bit of emotion he felt at that moment. His meeting with Skyler, his lighter and number sharing incident and the earlier chat that was rather ...incomplete for some reason. Violet listen to it intently and smiled once the boy finished. She booped his nose and finally said "First of all...oh my god. Second day in Starlight and already a guy you have huh?! That's amazing." Nathan blushed at her excitement as she continued, "secondly don't worry hun, this happens all the time. Judging by the response Skyler gave to you when you started crying...I'm sure he feels something too. Don't give up. If it's written, it's bound to happen. Now wipe that pout off your face and give me a cute smile of yours." Violet beamed at the petite boy. Nathan smiled at her feeling relived that he made a really good friend. He knew he didn't have anything to worry about anymore. He glanced at a spare pair of earphones Violet had in her fanny pack.

"Um...Violet? Can we..can we please listen to some songs? If you don't mind. I'll leave if you want me to-" Nathan hastily spoke getting up from the chair. Violet laughed at his nervousness and pulled him back on the chair. She plugged in the earphones and handed an earbud to Nathan. "Next time you act like this..you will be the only one to not taste the special cookies I make." Violet grinned at the boy tapping for another song called- Heathens.

Nathan couldn't help but snicker at the girl's choice of songs. But he knew he would get used to it, finding the girl's presence comforting. Both of them felt content and calm staring outside the window. They listened to many quirky and vibe-worthy songs and shared a coffee too. They were to leave the library soon.

Meanwhile:
Morris was enjoying the cold breeze hitting his face giving him a sense of freedom. He loved this new found interest of his. To feel the cold breeze. His hands tightened on Urban's torso as the bike got speedier. Morris knew what he was doing was quite shameless and signaling towards a very intimate gesture. But he couldn't care less. He had accepted the feelings he had for the taller male. Only if he knew, the other male was feeling just as much as ecstatic as Morris did. They both felt content. Urban pulled up at a small café that was smothered in pastel pink and blue colours. Definitely a couple's cafe. No doubt every seating had a heart shaped candle and the seats were made for two. Morris wanted to consider this as a date. "This is a date. If I didn't mention." Urban said out loud making Morris blush so hard that his apple cheeks tinted red. It was crazy how the latter caught his thoughts. "What?!" Morris could only exclaim. "Well Morris, I'm just kidding. Do you seriously think I would take you out on a date?" Urban didn't realize he had broken the shorter boy's heart in seconds. Morris pretended to chuckle at the statement and rushed into the café. He ordered his drink and sat on a seat looking away from the other.

Urban didn't realize what he had done. But in his defence, he didn't want to scare Morris off by admitting that this indeed was a step to their first date.

Sooner, they finished their drinks knowing really well that there was a awkward silence among themselves, only exchanging a few words. They went back to the bike and buckled up their helmets, ready to return. Morris didn't know why but he didn't hold the other's torso this time. He latched his hands together around his torso but avoided the direct contact. Urban surely caught it. He couldn't help but sigh at the awkwardness.

The sun was setting and the sky looked like a canvas splashed with hues of orange, pink and purple. It was beautiful in Morris's eyes.

He engrossed himself in the beauty of the sunset in order to keep his mind away from being baffled by the earlier conversation with Urban

He engrossed himself in the beauty of the sunset in order to keep his mind away from being baffled by the earlier conversation with Urban. It was saddening how his first ever love interest was distant even before he could make a move. He tried his best to forget the stinging feeling and focussed on how the new roommate had given him a taste of freedom in just a single bike ride.
He knew it wasn't the best hangout...but he didn't mind as long as he was with Urban. He was content. He was complete.

Back at the dorms:
Veronica and David sat across each other in the girls' dorms. Yes. The Dorms at Starlight High allowed girls and boys to be together in the same building, letting them meet frequently even though there were two divisions in the building. So in the mornings and afternoons, they could always meet each other. "I don't know why she didn't tell me, David. She just kept it to herself. Four years of friendship and she still thought I would judge her? Where did I go wrong?" Veronica sobbed leaning to David's shoulder. He side hugged her and patted her head. He wasn't really good at physical affection. But he tried his best to comfort her.

"Vonnie..I'm sure she had reasons. You both know almost everything about each other. Basically soulmates. But when she kept this as a secret...she might have had reasons. Please talk to her. Don't worry. It'll be okay. Hmm?" he comforted her.

Veronica had called David to her dorm the moment she discovered everything in the tin box. She told him almost everything she saw. Leaving out certain parts knowing very well that Violet wouldn't want to be shared. She knew she did wrong by telling this to David without Violet's permission. But she even knew..it was necessary at the moment.

Veronica calmed down agreeing with David's suggestion. They had to talk it out. The best part of the four friends was that they never kept something to themselves. They always talked it out. Despite the fact that Violet had kept a big secret.

David glanced at the sleepy figure next to him. Veronica cried for almost an hour. She was clearly tired. David gently put her head on his shoulder and shuffled in a comfortable position on the couch. He sighed at the strange feeling that kept bubbling in his chest. It was bugging him for a long time. He was clueless yet well aware. Strange enough. He closed his eyes starting to fall asleep due to the calm and warm body next to his.

'I guess...I can tell her some other time.' he thought for once, leaning his head on Veronica's. Sleep engulfing him in seconds.
