No one's pov:
It'd been almost a week since Violet had returned to the dorm. Things were falling to places. Veronica threw the tin box only keeping the diary on Nathan's request. He wanted to read it for some reason. Things were taking a beautiful turn in the relationship of Nathan and Skyler.Although Morris was still not sure why Urban hadn't asked him to be his boyfriend yet. Both had gone on three dates by now, spent a lot of time kissing or cuddling. But didn't say anything about dating. It scared Morris. It was a fine Sunday morning. The friends didn't have any classes so they ended up having breakfast at the cheesecake place. To be honest, they were kinda in love with that cafe. They ordered the berry cheesecake. It was quite a filling breakfast.
Violet's scars were healing rapidly considering the fact that the friends didn't let her cook for a whole week. They didn't even let her move a finger.
They had their lunch in the dorm café and left for their dorms. The afternoon was calm when everyone returned to their rooms. Veronica, Violet and David decided to go on a shopping spree. Which basically meant Veronica and Violet spending hours and hours on shopping and David getting bored at the end. Nathan and Skyler decided to go on a date for a whole day. Everyone wondered what they would do but no one questioned.
When Morris entered the dorm room, he found a key on his bed. He didn't know where it came from. But Urban glanced at the boy knowingly. "Um Morris. Take the key and follow me buttercup." Morris nodded, not wanting to upset the other. He took the key and left the room. When they went down the elevator, Urban closed the other boy's eyes with his palms. "Trust me and let me lead you. Okay?" Urban whispered. "O-okay."
When the boys stopped midway, Urban pulled away his palms. Morris stood in front of a beautiful and super classy Kawasaki Ninja H2. The boy knew how to ride a bike but never had a bike for himself. His old bike was at his hometown. Morris felt his eyes watering as the taller boy gestured him to move ahead.
Urban took Morris by his hands and led him to the bike. "I could feel you become comfortable and content when you were on the bike with me. I want you to feel the same freedom, contentment and happiness on your own. Go out whenever you feel like. Whenever you want to feel the same feeling over and over again. Hmm?" With this Urban moved his head down and kissed the other boy's lips.
Morris gave in and tugged on the boy's neck. He pulled him closer and kissed the taller male even more passionately. Both the men ran out of breaths yet leaned their foreheads against each other's smiling happily. "Go." Urban mumbled pecking the shorter boy. Morris nodded and sat himself on the bike smiling wide. He wore the helmet of Urban that Urban had given him for a while.
The engine revved and the bike started. Urban bid him a goodbye as the boy moved forward. Morris was smiling the whole time, behind the helmet. He was loving it. The bike had taken up a good pace and left the campus in no time. He decided to go into the woods. The city woods were quite modernised. Having proper roads and tracks and signs. Morris didn't mind it at all.
It was around 3 PM and the sky was already getting into the beautiful shade of orange. The city woods were safer and very well maintained which made it easier for bikers to feed to their thrills. Morris rode the bike for about an hour. He got a call from Urban. He stopped the bike midway and removed his helmet. He shuffled with his thick jacket and took the phone out.
"Hey Mor, it's been an hour. When are you gonna come back hmm? I know you like this experience but come soon baby. You can't stay out for so long." Morris chuckled at the other. "Urban...I'm gonna come back soon. Don't worry. I'm just loving this a lot. It's already 4...maybe I'll be back by 5. For sure." "Okay..stay safe. Call me if you need me. Take care. Have fun." Urban said across the phone. "Yes I will. Don't worry. Bye!"
Morris decided to keep the helmet off for a while to feel the air. He kept the phone in his jacket and hang the helmet on the side. He took a turn in the woods and followed a very misty area. The foggy zone was making it hard for him to follow the path. He felt himself getting thirsty. He could hear a water stream in the back and so he followed the way. He stopped his bike when he came across a beautiful water stream in the middle of the dark forest. He bent down to the stream and took water in this palm cups. He drank the fresh cold water as much as he could. He decided to take a bit of rest in the woods. Morris leaned his head on a rock and breathed in the woody, fresh smell of the forest. It was captivating. The boy moved to his left side only to be blinded by a ray. His eyes flinched at the ray. He tried his best to make his vision clear and looked at the front.
He found a medieval pouch laying on a big rock. The blue stone on it blinding his eyes. It was really mysterious and made Morris curious about the treasure that the pouch could hold in. He picked it up gently and opened it. His eyes came across the most common yet interesting things. He felt like he was being pranked because of the ordinary trinkets placed in the bag.
~what were the trinkets Morris found? Did those trinkets hold any power, any value? Perhaps...a story?
