It was around 4PM when the friends reached Skyler's house. "Oh my. Your mom really lives an aesthetic lifestyle." David said to Skyler. "Yeah. Well she indulges herself in such tiny things. Since dad...it's been quite distracting for her. So I try my best to support her with these things." Skyler looked down. Everyone knew about the story. Nathan and Skyler told them once. "I'm sure she is living a great life buddy. And she deserves it." Veronica patted his shoulder. "Yeah Skyler. Don't worry about it now." Urban gave a pursed smile.

They went to the door and rang the bell recieving a small 'coming' from inside. Soon the door was open and a middle-aged woman with a rather intimidating and delicate stature appeared. She gave a very warm smile and said. "Finally you are here. Come on in." She moved aside letting everyone in. Skyler went to her and hugged her tight. "How are you mom? Are you taking good care of yourself?" Skyler smiled at her. She grinned and replied. "Yes Skyler. Don't worry." The boy kissed his mother's forehead and looked at his boyfriend. "That's Nathan, mom..."

Mrs. Owens moved to the petite boy and tightly hugged him. Nathan was stunned at her welcoming gesture. "Nice to meet you sweetie. Thanks for being with my baby." She kissed his forehead and Nathan could feel himself tearing up. Violet rubbed his back making him come out of thoughts. "Ma'am..it's a pleasure to meet you too. Thanks for having us here.." "Nu-uh. Don't call me ma'am. Rebecca is fine. Honorifics make me feel old. I'm a 'YouTuber' as you call it. Gotta stay in young skin!" Rebecca laughed out making everyone chuckled and giggle at her statement.

"Come on take seats now. I'll get you something to eat." "Oh Rebecca... we're good. We just had our brunch. Water would do." Morris said. "Oh okay. Let me grab some water." The lady went in the kitchen and soon came out with a tray of glasses with water. "So? How's everything at Starlight High?" Rebecca asked. "It's good Rebecca... we're having fun. Just got done with our semester. Now it's all gonna be Halloween, Prom and stuff." Urban stated. "Oh well then you guys are gonna get graduated in a year. Except for Nathan I believe." Everyone nodded at the lady. "Yeah he'll graduate in two years." "That's good. Okay sweeties. There's nothing much to do for you guys considering the fact that you are staying a night...so you are open to any ideas for hanging out." Rebecca shrugged.

"Um....how about a karaoke night?" Violet asked. "That's not a bad idea. I'd love it." Veronica added. "But we don't have a karaoke machine." Rebecca pouted. "Oh mom, that can be arranged. Remember Robby from Stereo Palace? Well I have his number. We can get the karaoke machine from there." "That's better. So let's get to it. Girls, would you like to tag along with me to the store? I'll get some snacks for evening. It's 4:30 already now." "Oh sure!" Both the girls exclaimed at the lady. "Well we'll set up the living room for the karaoke. Is that fine Rebecca?" David asked. "Oh yeah sure. Go ahead!"

Time skip:
Evening rolled around. It was 6PM when everyone got back to the living room. They changed into Pyjamas for comfort. Snacks were laid out, pillows and blankets were scattered and arranged in the living room. And a fresh karaoke machine was brought in the middle of the room, attatched to the TV.
