No one's pov:
Violet, Nathan and Morris knowingly sat on the couch pretending that they didn't know what had just happened. They purposely captured the couch to leave the other two to sit on the bed. It was Veronica's bed of course. But she surely didn't mind letting David share it with her for the movie night. Everyone huddled up and held blankets with themselves, only to realize that Vonnie and David had just one left. David smirked at this and wrapped himself and Vonnie in one blanket.

Violet wasn't going to let a movie night get wasted without having a horror movie up her sleeve. She put on Conjuring, leaving Veronica and Nathan the only ones who hadn't actually seen it. To be honest, avoided to watch that movie. Both of them were scaredy cats when it came to horror movies. The moment the movie started playing Nathan cuddled up to Violet. Even though he was taller than her, he still looked petite and small when he was scared or nervous. She smiled at him and hugged him tight. Since she was in between Nathan and Morris, Morris joined the cuddle fest too, not leaving the opportunity to cuddle with his friend. Violet instantly felt warm and cozy between the boys.

On the other side of the room, on Veronica's bed David had sensed the fear in Veronica's mind, judging by the tight grip she had on the blanket. He certainly was shirtless but couldn't care less. So he ended up taking one of her thigh on his leg, bringing her close enough to cuddle with her comfortingly. She was super shy at this gesture, not knowing how to react. But to David's surprise she gripped on his hands and moved a little to sit in a better position that made it easier to cuddle.

There were jumpscares and horribly scary moments taking place in the movie making Nathan and Veronica jump and flinch then and now. Morris was definitely asleep by now. Meanwhile Violet couldn't help but post a Snapchat story to infuriate the rest of the school in seconds. Nathan glanced at her phone while she put the story. He knew how Violet loved to flaunt her friendship. He felt amazing being a part of this underrated yet perfect friends group.

She posted her story and now the credits had started to roll. She shut the television off and looked on her sides. Morris was fast asleep on her shoulder where Nathan was yawning cutely and rubbing his eyes in sleepiness. She patted his shoulder till she felt a weight on her shoulder proving that Nathan was indeed asleep.

She glanced at the bed and saw an endearing sight. Her dearest soulmate was asleep on David's shoulder, her back pressed against his chest and both of their bodies hiding under the blanket. The movie night had made many things clear to her. Veronica and David were soon to get together, Nathan was finally get used to this group, Morris was enjoying himself rather than focussing on Urban and Violet herself felt better being around her friends. She smiled and leaned her head on Morris's. Before she knew, she was fast asleep.

Next morning:
The morning made an appearance and the curtains opened letting the sun brighten the room and reaching everyone's skin. The warm feeling waking everyone up slowly. Morris and Nathan felt their heads against each other as they woke up only to find the girl between them missing. Veronica and David woke up in each others arms. Veronica glanced at their hands. They were holding hands the whole time. It made her feel super ecstatic and bubbly. Everything was new to her and she was loving her. She realized David was still shirtless. He looked at her smiling, still sleepy but he leaned down and kissed her temple. "Good morning, Vonnie." he said. "Morning David." she replied smiling at him and cuddling to his sides.

"Good morning sleepy heads! Brush your teeth and eat up till it's hot. Come on! Wake up!!" Violet entered the room with a big tray and many plates in it. No one saw what she had brought. Since it was on the far end coffee table. She came with cups filled with strong black coffee, waking everyone up from the sleep with the strong aroma. Everyone was wide awake glancing at the table. They were drooling already.

The coffee table was decorated with two plates of Soufflé pancakes with maple syrup on the side, five plates of toasted summer sandwiches and five cups of black coffee for everyone

"Fuck I'd trade my soul to eat this food everyday! Violet I can't thank you enough for this. Seriously." Morris jumped up from the couch. "Vonnie is too lucky to have this every single day!" Nathan squealed. "Well Violet..do you mind if we come for breakfast on weekends?" David mumbled looking at the plates in trance. "I don't mind it at all. You can come anytime. Just inform me before hand so I have enough groceries." Everyone digged in and let out sighed and huffs in contentment. It was a perfect way to start their morning with.

David sent a text message to Violet while eating. She heard a ding on her phone as she kept her plate down and glanced at the phone, looking upto David. He motioned her to read it.

Davie bub:
You need to help
Morris in Urban's case.
I want you to give him
a push. Include Vonnie in
this plan too.

Me:
Ok. Done.
#getMorrisADick
is on!

Davie bub:
You just-- nevermind.

Both of them tried hard not to laugh or chuckle as they went back to eating. Once they were done, Nathan and Veronica got the plates in dishwasher and wiped the earlier night's dishes. Meanwhile Violet looked at Morris who was scrolling through his phone. "Hey Mor. Can I have your phone for a minute please? I need to transfer a few pictures to your phone and make a backup folder. Please?" she gave him puppy eyes, making Morris sigh at her cutesy behaviour. He handed her phone to her. She went to Urban's account instantly and did the thing she had planned. She pretended to transfer a few pictures. Glancing back and forth from her phone to Morris's.

She handed him the phone back and got up to leave. Before leaving she looked back. "I've texted Urban. Meet him at the park I've sent the location of. I don't know where that park is but it's close enough. The name caught my attention. So.... you're welcome. Goodbye sweeties." she ran inside to take a shower leaving Morris with wide eyes and open mouth. He knew he was doomed. Meanwhile David was having the time of his life laughing at his girl buddy who just outdid herself.

Morris was nervous...but surely excited on the inside. He wanted things to get better too.

~would the things go just the way he expected? Or would they take a turn?
