DAWN

As I woke up, I rubbed my eyes and sat down on a familiar bed. "Dawn! you're awake, how do you feel?" Linette asked me as I nodded my head, telling her that I'm fine. Suddenly Jencks rushed in wearing a green tuxedo. "Dawn! What happen to you?! Are you okay?! What did you two do?!" he kept asking us.

"Nothing, I'm fine,"

"What do you mean fine!? Miss Paula said that you fainted at the market "

" Yeah, but-"

"And one of the knights said that you two were using magic?!"

"So it was magic..."

"How did you even knew you have magic?"

"I didn't, I just-"

"Linette, why didn't you stop her? You know it's forbidden to use magic at the village."

"Jencks! Stop it and listen to me!" I shouted so that he could stop talking. "Thank you," I took a deep breath and said "It's not Linette's flaunt okay? There was a girl that was being chased and I wanted to help her, Linette and I didn't know that I was going to use my powers because as you know, I never even knew I had magic, right?" I explained to him. He nodded and said, "Your right, I'm sorry Linette... I should have guards babysits my sister."

"Hey!" I shouted as I punched his shoulder. Linette and Jencks laughed while I still wore an angry expression even though I also thought it was funny.  "Ohh come on Dawn," he said as he slapped my back while giggling with Linette. "Whatever-" I finally put a smile on my face. "Oh no, I don't have anything to wear for tonight," I panicked.

"Oh! You don't have to be concerned with that anymore, here-" Linette said as she with the help of other pixies brought out a beautiful off-shoulder royal rose pink gown with pink roses at the ends of both the top and bottom, "I told my fellow pixies if they could buy a dress for you because I couldn't leave you alone." she continued. My brother soon helped me to stand up for me to dress up.

I wore the gown and felt like I was a princess, I turned around to show it to Jencks and Linette. "Wow, just now I appreciate you as my sister," he once again teased me. "Should I be grateful for that?" I teased him back. "Anyway, Thank you so much Linette, and for your friends as well." I thanked her full of joy.  "Your always welcome, Dawn," Linette said as her other pixies friends said goodbye.

"Well now, may we go and attend the ball? And please no more chasing after people, and I promise to tell you everything tomorrow." Jencks said as he leads me and Linette to the castle. "Okay, I promise" I answered him, "Good, I'll be leaving you two again," he then said. "Wait! What's your reason now?"  I asked as if I was our mom.

"I have duties to fulfill," he answered me while crossing his hands. "Really?-" I didn't believe him, "What are you? a knight or something?" I laughed. "In a matter of fact, yes, a captain knight actually," he bragged. I didn't believe it, my brother? A knight? It's just too hard for me to believe in, plus a captain! He has never been a leader before, and just being here for 2 summers can't possibly means he learned so many things at once. "Yeah right," I nagged. "Okay fine don't believe me, I just really have to go, okay? So just behave," he said as if he was dad.

Jencks then headed inside while I was still nervous about what will occur to me as I entered the room. "Don't worry yourself, Dawn, you'll meet many new people just like you, and they will be your classmates from now on" Linette encouraged me. "Your right Linette, here's go nothing."

As we entered the event room there were many people dressed in formal attire, they seem people that came from royal families, wearing gold necklaces and bracelets, taking all fancy, and even dancing so gently. I could hear people whispering about me, "That's the girl Dawn right?", "She doesn't even look that deserving", "She's not what I imagined".
