Chapter 10

ALVAR

As I flew up, I took out my arrow with black magic dipped on its tip and calculated it to the Blacklight dimaya, but, she shields herself using a black hard metal shield, made from her magic.

"Almost got me there Mister arrow man," she said as she vanished her shield to tin air, "I've been missing you," she said with a slight smirk.

"I apologize, however, I don't feel the same," I casually said.

"Well then," she said while she laughs, as she creates a dark energy ball and aims it towards me at full speed. Luckily, I managed to dodge them, with the help of the other potions that I drink, before while I and Cal were heading towards here. But, I don't think I can keep on avoiding her attacks for long.

"Oh look," the Blacklight dimaya said as someone on my right flew up beside me, "A new player, huh?" 

"Noelle! What are you doing here?!" suddenly asked in shock, she's not allowed to be here, her knowledge of her powers is no that too advance for a higher place identical to flying. Thus, how on Litber is she flying?!

"I'm here to help you, Sir Alvar," Noelle said with confidence, she always has been a girl with such pride, especially because she's a princess, but also because she knows she's powerful and strong. I looked down, seeing that Louis still unconscious and Cal healing Jencks, well... that means I may need all the help I can get to beat this Blacklight dimaya.

"Fine, it's your choice," I said as I took out multiple arrows and shot them while Noelle uses her water magic and shaped them into arrows as turning them ice hard as well, aiming at her, additionally.

"Aw, too bad, I thought we could be friends," the blacklight dimaya said while avoiding our attacks, "You know? like girl power?" she kept on talking.

"I appreciate it, but, I must deny," Noelle said while still attacking her.

"How disappointing..." the girl said as she creates a small shadow ball full of dark energy, it slowly turned larger and larger, until she threw it straight at Noelle. Luckily, I managed to rush to her and protect her from the attack, using my bow that turned into a shield. 

"Keep a sharp eye, Noelle," I lessoned her,

"Yes sir!" she replied.

JENCKS

"They need our help," I said as I try to get up, I still felt some pain, but I can't just let them fight her alone, we still have no information on her blacklight magic, which makes her unpredictable.

"Jencks, you must not stand up yet," Cal said worriedly while trying to calm me down.

"No, it's o-okay... I'm f-fine," I insured him,

"Are you sure?" he asked as he helped me up,

"Yes," I stated, if I couldn't attack him up close, then I have to at least try using my gravity magic from afar. "Owen, Stacey, I leave you two to Louis-"

"No n-need, I'm o-kay..." Louis suddenly spoke, trying to get up with the help of Owen and Stacey, "Thank you, Cal," he thanked him.

"But Captain Louis, you can't even walk straight, sir," Stacey said, but it didn't change Louis's mind.

"You all don't have to worry, I'm ok-" I stopped him and gently grabbed his arm,

"She's right, you've been seriously injured than me," I explained to him as I looked into his eyes and said, "Louis... if you truly want to help then..." I could see the determination that Noelle had when she flew up to help Alvar, "fine...But you have to promise me that you'll never leave my side!" I purposely allowed him. I could see that everyone was surprised, but, I knew I could trust him, plus, Alvar and Louis were the only two that did real damage to her. 

"Thank you, " Louis agreed as I let go of his arm, "Then, what's the plan Cap J?" 

"While the Blacklight magic-user is distracted by Alvar and Noelle, I and Louis will try to attack her back, while Louis's team will use the flight potion again and fly all the way above her, but make sure you are all not seen by her with going up," I explained the plan,

"Stacey, I leave the team to you" Louis commanded her,

"Yes, Cap!" she answered,

"Lastly, Cal, you and my team will wait until she falls down or gets close to the ground, and capture her, give your all, Owen, could you tell Aaron that he'll be in charge of the team?" I asked him a favor,

"Will do, Captain J!" he agreed to my request. 

"The time has come, it's now or never," Cal said with passion on his face. 

We all then headed to our positions and got ready to fight, as I and Louis headed to the audience branches, I looked at Alvar and nodded my head, and at that right moment, he nodded back, meaning that he understood my plan. We four have been best friends for four years now, we're all almost like brothers, we can now speak to each other without talking, most of the time. 

"Do you think Alvar got the message?" Louis asked,

"Of course," I answered as I looked at the right and left audience branches and saw the knights getting their on places, waiting for my cue, "Your team looks ready," 

"So does yours and Cal," Louis then said, as he takes out again his sword, with fire and lightning magic already on it. I used my magic and lifted it while aiming it to the Blacklight magic-user, waiting for Alvar's cue.

"You two are just weeklies like the other two," the Blacklight user mocks as she laughs, while still trying to attack them.

"Let's see about that," Alvar said with a slight smirk, "Now!" he commanded, as Noelle blasted a huge frost on her, making her face our way, this is our chance, so I took it. I shot the sword towards her and it hit straight at her that made her fall down, everything was all going to plan.

"Got her!" Cal screamed out as he and my team traped her with a magical net that refrains her nerve to function, which means she can't move at her state. We finally got her, I didn't really expect that it will all go well, but gladly it did.

"Yes!" Aaron screamed out, signify of our victory, as everyone cheered as well. I wanted to cheer as well but as I turned to Louis, I saw him with a confused and scared expression. 

"What's wrong Louis?" I asked him while landing my hand on his shoulder.

"She seems quite... I apologize, yet I may feel that the fight isn't over," he said as his face slowly turned serious. 

"How cute," suddenly the Blacklight magic-user spoke, " I must say, you all really are easy to fool!" she said while laughing, I could see on everyone's face were full of confusion, so was mine.

"B-but how?!" Aaron said, as he slowly stepped back with his face all covered with fear,

"Now then, I'll get serious!" she said with a dark tone on her voice, making us all shake in fear, as she took Aaron and some other two knights using her shadow hands, made by her blacklight magic. 

"Everyone attack!" Louis commanded as every knight followed and rush towards her, but, she immgenily blasts a black shock wave that made everyone fall down on the ground, preventing us to go closer to her.

 "You're all seriously are so cute! Thinking that you could defeat me," she continued to mock while still holding on to my three knights. Gratefully, Cal rushed to her, slicing off her shadow hands, using his two yellow and black anti-magic blades, saving Aaron and the two knights in the process. "Hey!" she screamed in fury. She was ready to attack again, but, suddenly a bright light shined that later created a white shock wave that confusedly only negatively affected the Blacklight magic-user. And made me and everyone else feel more energetic like power was suddenly given through my body when the wave went through me.
