Chapter 12

ALVAR

Everyone was amazed by Dawn's power, having her defected with one blast and without training is impressive, even so, she still has a lot to go. I must train her to grow stronger with her powers. Yet, I'm here with Louis and Jencks trying to break this blacklight dimaya on telling us, where their hideout is. 

"Just tell us! And maybe you'll have a comfy life in the dungeon," Jencks yelled at her, however, she fair-minded ignored him while arms and legs crossed. "Did you just ignored me?! Did no one ever taught you manners!" 

"Did no one ever taught you how to comb your hair?" she argued back, I suddenly realized that Jencks's hair has always been messy, and he won't mind since it's a said style on earth. 

"Hey! This is a popular hairstyle!" Jencks explains as he slams the table, shocking Louis, who is seated next to him and across her,

"Well, you look like you just woke up and accidentally puts Bad Hair Shampoo on," she answered back while slamming the table as well, She and Jencks are now on a face-to-face battle. I may never understand why people put such time into these useless arguments, obviously, no one will except defect, with how meaningless their agreement is about, hair. 

"May we all settle down and control ourselves?" Louis calmly said as he held each their shoulders, "Thank you, now, may we start over young lady?" he then asked while they both gently sat down. 

"Ohh, young lady? Don't need to make me flattered, we may be the same and right age," she said with an appealing tone on her voice as she bends closer to Louis, "Your cute, but your boyfriend here is grumpy, why don't you dumped him and get some drinks with me?" she resumed as she shows off her chest. What on Litber is she doing?! It's all nonsense happening in this room. May they just get to the point?!

"Okay now your just saying rubbish things!" Jencks said as he stood up and headed to me, 

"Are you three overplaying?" I asked calmly with a sarcastic tone while crossing my arms and standing straight. 

He laughed in a sarcastic way and said, " Very funny, she's really getting on my nerves and I think we won't get anything from her anytime soon, so, can you check on Dawn for me?" 

"Okay," I replied as I walked out of the room.

I then bumped into Cal, Linette, and Noelle, they appear to be walking towards the dungeon, "Where do you suppose to be heading to?" I asked them, they looked excited as a child waiting for his birthday.

"Heading to find you, Alvar" Linette said, almost bursting out on the excitement. 

"Me? And what may be the reason on so?" I followed up with my question. 

"We've been wondering, if you could lend us your time after school, to train us, please do accept," Cal begged as the two followed him.

"Only the three of you?" I asked, hoping that Dawn would also be participating in the training, however, she may have many questions that I may not have the answers to, yet, I will do my best to answer them and help her. Yet, she may not want to train with me anymore, because of the not-telling Jencks accident, I must respect her mission if so.

"Oh! There's four actually, Dawn too will join," Linette suddenly stated.

"Okay then," I answered without any hesitation, "But, you must all asked your parents' or guardians' permission, for no more accidents to occur," I explained. They agreed and thanked me as they went to tell Dawn.  

DAWN 

I can't believe that Alvar agreed to our plan, he is really so kind, even though he's busy with another thing, he makes sure to take care of me, I mean us. But of course, he couldn't say no to his best friend, Cal, I love that their friendship didn't change, now that Alvar is his teacher. Everyone seems very excited about our training, sure we've trained at school, but, now it's different because we got to use our powers and skills with no limit. Sure, I got concerned for Alvar, but, Cal said that he could take care of us if we went out of control. He does have a lot of experience. 

"Oh! The only problem is telling my mother," Linette said as she tries to think of another solution on how to make her mother agree as well. 

"I have no problem with my father, he'll be even pleased to know that I'll be exercising my powers, I did get it from him," Noelle then said calmly, Linette looked at her annoyed with her hands cross. 

"Excuse me?" Alvar suddenly said as he comes in the room, 

"Alvar, what are you doing here?" I instantly asked as he looks at me, then back at them and asked,

"May I have an alone moment with Dawn? It will only take a minute," he continued, 

"Oh! Yes of course, and take your time," Linette answered while pushing Cal and Noelle out, "Farewell Dawn, see you tomorrow at school," she continued.

Alvar and I suddenly felt a second of silence, I looked up at the ceiling then down at the floor, trying to avoid eye contact, my heart pounding, my chest slowly getting tighter, I mean it's not our first time being alone together, but just awhile ago, I thought I would lose him, I thought that I couldn't do anything to save him and the others, I'm just so happy that his fine like the others. 

"Jencks... he wanted to know if you're doing alright," 

"Oh..."

"Well, are you?" 

"Um... I'm fine I guess," I giggle, " Miss Paula said that I just needed some rest because of the amount of energy I used on the blast, I didn't even know I could do that," I continued while pulling up my blanket to my shoulders, covering up my whole body, but, exposing my toes. 

"That good to hear," he said as he takes a pillow and covers my toes, "You still have many to learn for you to control the amount of energy to use in a blast," he explains 

"I know..." I agreed as I bowed my head,

"Do not be feared, yet, I will still keep my promise," he then gently sat at my bed, across me, " to believe and trust in you... with that, I'll help you to get stronger on the way," 

"Thank you Alvar," I thanked him with a smile,
