I believe SOLO would've been a better experience for me if she had more intention in her movements and expression on her face when performing. More GRIT! More CONFIDENCE!
Honestly alot of people were hating on her back then, and no one deserves hate but I've never been too excited about her at least in general. I'm talking as an artist. I'm sure she's a great person like all of BlackPink.... artistically, she just didn't catch my eye as much as Lisa or Rose.
There were a few times recently where she surprised me, like at Coachella. She had THE MOST confidence I've seen compared to her stages in Korea. Also, the special version of 'Solo' with the rap and the dancing and the hair buns -- SHE OOZED CONFIDENCE THAT I WISH SHE SHOWED ALL THE TIME. Don't know if it's nerves or having a low lung capacity, but I want to see more strength and grit from her.
