Project 7 - Ep. 4 (Vocal & Dance Performances)

VOCAL

The best stages were the IU and Day6 songs. 

'Love Me or Leave Me - Day6'

Kang Hyunwoo impressed me in his audition and his vocals during rehearsals made me respect his skills even more. He carried this stage.

Hanbin's lower register is soooo smooth and full. I like his tone a lot.

Kim Sihun did not catch my attention really until this first vocal stage. He has a nice high register voice! In his audition, he had great dance ability, so he COULD be a contender for placing high on my list of favorite trainees.

'Love Wins All - IU'

Yoo Youngseo I know nothing of him and his members in their debuted group, but based on this stage, he's one of the strongest singers on the show! I didn't notice him at all until this stage performance. His high notes are so out of this world. He literally sounded like a CD! It was soooo refreshing to hear.

Chenyu's vocals have a deeper tone that I enjoy! I reallyyyy hope to hear more vocals from him because he's one of the strongest on the show!

DANCE

The best stage based on energy level and overall production is '3D'. Second place is 'Kiwi', and third place is 'Pop'. 'Closer' had good moments but it wasn't as together or exciting as the others.

'3D - Jungkook'

Park Junseo!! I'm aware he's in a group already but that didn't faze me. However, he's a strong dancer in this competition with great confidence and leadership ability! I like how he was willing to bring the foreigners in his team together to communicate; he could've just left them out to fail, but this shows he has the right mindset to be an idol. Definitely on my watch list.

Kenshin! Super adorable!! Who can hate him?? He has so much potential. I hope to see his dance skills become cleaner and more powerful, and I hope to hear his singing. I also love that he's learning Korean and having fun :)

Jang Yeojun! He was someone I marked as having a good audition but I havne't paid attention to him at all until this stage. He completely ate. His dance, his confidence, his charisma, his facial expressions are all giving A+. He may become a favorite of mine to watch...

'Kiwi - Harry Styles'

Kim Joonwoo completely ate the stage. His dance and his acrobatics are impressive! Honestly, I feel bad because I didn't see anyone else on this stage. They acted as background dancers in his world. That's how good he commanded the stage.

'Pop - NYSYNC'

Abe Yura was a great center/leader. Great energy as a dancer. One of the strongest dancers in this big group.

Seo Jinwon is one the trainees on my list, and he delivered. He was strong and consistent. It wasn't a complete wow factor, but he was strong onstage.

'Closer - The Chainsmokers'

Kang Minseo was a great center! His facial expressions, emotions, and powerful movements were great to see! Couldn't keep my eye off him.

Kang Wangseok had great power in his movements and might've been one of the best for this stage too, though he's not a fave on my list.
