ILAND 2 - thoughts before part 2

As of June 6, the top 12 contestants are:

Gyuri, Sujung, Yuju, Mai, Jeemin, Juwon, Sarang, Jiyoon, Saebi, Jungeun, Koko, Fuko.

As of now, my favorite trainees I'll be rooting for are: Fuko, Koko, Sarang, Jeemin.

I think FUKO of all people deserves to debut because she's shown solid vocals, dancing, and overall great expressions when performing. She also has a great attitude and is a strong leader.

Sarang is a great dancer, and she's serious about performing. She can be a leader when she needs to be. She's also had a great attitude throughout the show. I'd like to hear more confident vocals from her. (Also, does anyone else think she looks like Bahiyyih Heuning?)

Jeemin is a special case because she was super popular on R U Next, and she is a great performer. The only thing holding her back is her vocal ability, which I hope she gets training with. I've noticed higher notes seem to be harder for her, so I'd love to hear her lower tone shine in Part 2. I've been supporting her because she has lots of potential HOWEVER, I won't blindly support her if she doesn't up her game and really go all out for the rest of the show. Regardless, she seems to be #1 recently so most likely she'll debut. Fighting!

Koko is a great dancer. IWALY was the peak of her presence on this show and I hope she goes even further in dance and singing. Her expressions and energy onstage are spot on!

Great leaders >> 

Mai was not my favorite because she could showcase better vocals, plus she looks stiff onstage at times, however, when she did the Creative Concept battle she was a great leader! Her mentality when she was chosen as the last part in one of the first missions was super positive! Yuju is another great leader who stepped up when she was in Ground. She showed her vocal ability, but there's something missing for me... a fire in her eyes. I think she needs to take bigger risks to really be seen onstage. Sujung is great too when it comes to dancing, but her vocals are not convincing. I hope she has more opportunities to show her singing.

The only other person I wanna talk about is Saebi. Her stage presence is great, I love that she's super tall, and I love her relationship with Jeemin. I'd love if these two debuted, but I do want them to bring the fire! Saebi gained popularity because of her 'Panorama' high-energy expressions along with the Creative Concept battle (Rain On Me) and IWALY. There's something unique she brings as a trainee. I hope to hear more of her vocals and see a strong dance performance.

About the Show:

Out of this bunch, vocally, Fuko, Jungeun, and Jiyoon seem to be the strongest... but I still need a bit from Jiyoon & Jungeun in terms of stage presence. They seem uncomfortable and serious. Those two things are what are preventing me from voting for them.

I'd like to see more vocals!!! I'm not entire impressed by the voices, although most of them have an average level of talent. The live performances aren't bad, but I do feel like something is missing. Maybe the song choices could be better. IDK.

I'd love if they had a dance unit with Sujung, Jeemin, Juwon, Sarang, and Koko. These are by far the strongest dancers.

I'm hoping for more WOW moments going forward...
