Chapter 12

It's been 3 years since Yuzu went missing. There were no clues or prints left behind about her, it's like she disappeared from the face of the Earth. Mei never gave up searching, she was still searching till this day, but not as actively as she used to till a year ago. Harumi, Matsuri, Shirapon and Nene would join Mei's search sometimes but were too busy otherwise. They finished school and some were working while others went to college. The police stopped searching as well, after all it's been a long time since they found any clues as to where she might be so they are still searching but not actively either. Mei inherited the Aizawa academy, Harumi and Nene went to college, Matsuri started working as a music producer and Shirapon inherited her family. They all moved on and at this point they thought Yuzu was dead but persisted because Mei kept believing that she's alive somewhere out there.

Mei's POV

As I was working on some papers in my office I heard a knock "Come in." I say and see my grandfather coming in. "Hello Mei" he said. "Hello grandfather. We have that meeting with one of our top sponsors today right?" I said. He just nodded and sat down on a couch. "'Half of his heart' as he likes to call them will come instead of him. He was too busy to come, he would come if he could make time." My grandfather told me. 'Half of his heart' is a very trusted companion of his that means to him as much as he means to himself which means he treasures that person a lot. We haven't met this person yet and we'll be meeting them in a couple of hours. Mr. Shi is one of our top sponsors and we treasure him very much and will do anything for him because he's done a lot for us, he had a favor to ask us that's why his companion is coming, to talk about the favor. I just hope it isn't anything too hard, I've had enough stress as it is. And I still can't find Yuzu...Haaaa~ I could really use her hug right now. She hugged me a couple of times, and it felt like I was floating and don't get me started on that kiss. I really wish I could hug her and make her feel how I felt and vice-versa. A couple of hours later it was time for us to go pick up Mr. Shi's companion from the airport. They have been staying in America for a year so they will come with a private jet here, and I appreciate that.

Yuzu's POV

'Haaa~' I sigh to myself. I had to go back to Japan to meet some of our beneficiary who we've been sponsoring for years. Of course I know it's the Aizawa academy, and I know I'll have to meet Mei who took over the academy and I've talked it out with my uncle (she calls Mr. Shi uncle because they are 'close') and he told me to go and it doesn't matter if I'm not in hiding anymore. I've been trough hell and back multiple times because of that man and now he treasures me more than himself....I'm still furious at him and at time I just want to do the things he did to me to him, but I don't. He's the only 'family' I have, like it or not. I'm currently en route towards Japan and I'll be arriving in 20 minutes. I'm not nervous I'm more annoyed that I had to leave the comfort of my home in America to come back to this place with so many bitter memories....Nothing I can do about, so I took the glass of red wine and gulped it down to feel the tipsiness just a little bit but of course it didn't come. I've drunk so many times I gained resistance to alcohol practically. I have to drink like I'm dehydrated if I want to get drunk. I just laid back and relaxed till the landing.

No one's POV

The Aizawas were at the airport waiting for the plane to land, and when it did they got notified immediately and headed to where the plane parked. They stood there waiting for the door to open and see who the mysterious 'half of his heart' is. The door finally opened and everyone perked up. First came out a man in a business suit, everyone thought it was him but saw him carrying some of the luggage. He was coming down the stairs pretty fast and tripped almost falling "Slow down buba, you'll fall down" everyone heard a deep woman's voice say from behind the door. As she started walking out her skin and hair practically glowed from the sundown, her green eyes shining like emeralds. Her tall and muscular figure shining. Everyone just stood there and watched. Mei's eyes were opened in shock. 'It's her....isn't it? It's really her.' Mei thought to herself as the not naturally blonde woman came down the stairs. "I know I'm drop dead gorgeous honey, but shut your eyes, they'll dry out." said Yuzu. Mei quickly followed and saw Yuzu smirk quickly before going back to her serious face. "I'm Yuzu Amano, but everyone calls me Koro." Yuzu stuck out her hand to Mei's grandfather, Maboru Aizwa. He took her and shook it "Maboru Aizawa, and this is my granddaughter Mei Aizawa" he pointed at Mei and Mei bowed. Yuzu just nodded her head. There was clear height difference between the two, Yuzu was even taller than Mei then before, when they were younger there was a height difference but this was different. "Koro, we should head out now we have to settle at the place your staying at." Buba said, Yuzu only calls him that because they've been together for 2 years now, his real name is Yagi Mari. "Aight. Let's go. I will see you later." as she started to walk away she turned around and said "Oh and, it's nice to see you again Mei. You've grown a lot" and gave her a smile. Mei just looked at her, astonished. 

In the car

Yuzu called her uncle "Hey uncy, I arrived and met the sponsee's. I'll see them tomorrow again and I'll call you and tell you how it went, trust me with this hehe." she said. "Don't call me uncy dammit, uncle was fine but this is too much...Haaa~ alright. Tell me how it goes and don't mess it up, I don't want to clean up more of your messes. I'll call ya later, sending love." He responded and hanged up. "Haha, he can't be honest with himself, I know he loves it when I call him that." Yuzu laughed. Buba just looked at her smiling and nodding. 

At Mei's house

"Guys....you won't believe what happened today...." Mei texted in the group.

"What happened?" everyone responded

"I saw...Yuzu" Mei said

"What!?" Matsuri said

"How...where???" Harumi said

"I can't believe this" Nene said

"Same here" Shirapon said

"Okay so, you know the guy that's been sponsoring the academy for a long time, Mr. Shi right?" Mei said

"Yes, you've told us about him" Harumi said

"Well, we were supposed to meet to talk about something and he was too busy so he sent him most trusted companion he calls 'half of his heart'....." Mei said.

"Oh my God....Don't tell me" Matsuri said while everyone just waited for the rest.

"Yes. Yeah. It was Yuzu! And apparently her name now is Yuzu Amano and she works for Mr. Shi." Mei said.

Everyone was quiet for a moment.

"Let's meet up tomorrow after I have the meeting with her and I'll try to convince her to come with me so we can talk. I can't believe she just showed up...after searching for her for so long..." Mei said.

"Alright" everyone responded.

"We'll see each other tomorrow guys, goodnight." Mei said

"Goodnight." Matsuri said.

"Oh my god...goodnight, ttyl." Harumi said

"Night" Nene and Shirapon said.

And so they all went to sleep, their heads filled with thoughts of meeting Yuzu again, everyone was exited except for Mei, because she knew what kinds of man Mr. Shi is, and knew that Yuzu has changed so much and hoped that she'll tell them what happened.

Alright. I get so many ideas for other ff's but I will finish this one first before starting a new one, it's hard writing many at one moment :) Hope yall liked this -dittos
