I woke up in the dark. I tried to sit up but was yanked back by iron chains attached to the wall. I sat down against the cold, stone brick wall knowing that I was likely to be killed soon.

I sat and tried to remember how I got here but had no luck, it was obviously the changeling though. I sat and thought to myself some more when Etho came in dragging, I'm guessing, the real Etho.

It placed a torch on the wall and then I could actually see where I was. It looked like a dungeon but the spawner was just broken and chains were added to the walls. It definitely could have decorated more but that's just my builder brain.

It dragged him to a set of chains and chained his arms and legs to the wall and the floor. I also then realised that my ankles were chained to the floor too. Once it finished chaining him up it turned to me and I felt really scared, I didn't like how scary Etho looked.

"Hello Grian," it said.

I looked at him wondering what he had in store for me.

"Not so friendly, huh?"

I looked away from him.

"Let's do this the easy way, just tell me some information about your friends and I'll maybe even let you go unharmed,"

"Nice try I ain't telling you scud!"

"Always has to be the hard way," it said sounding quite bored.

It looked at me with an evil smirk and pulled a dagger out its back pocket and sliced my ankle, I winced.

"Wanna tell me anything now?"

"Nope"

"Your mistake"

It sat next to me and cut my left cheek quite deep. I pushed my face against my red jumper to try and stop the bleeding. My face creased up in pain.

"Takes a lot to crack me, have fun" I said with a grin.

It cut my arm quickly and aggressively, I yelped out in pain. I gained control of myself again and said " Well now I'm definitely not gonna tell you anything,"

Then I felt an extreme pain in my chest, it stabbed me. I started choking and soon it fell to darkness...

I woke up from my bed to see Xay sleeping on the bed next to me, I gave him a little nudge to wake him up.

"You look cute when you're sleeping," I giggled.

He blushed in response.

I elbowed him playfully and stood up to make some toast.

"You want some toast?"

"Yeah, thanks,"

I put the toast in the furnace and got some honey out a chest and placed it on the island. Then I sat down next to Xay on the sofa.

We were chatting away until a stray cat jumped through our window and started licking the honey. It was a light grey cat with pretty blue eyes. I went over to it to try scare it away but the cat just completely ignored me.

I looked at Xanthus giving him a look of 'what do I do?', He just shrugged back and started walking over.

I started patting the cat and it started purring, Xay then started stroking it too. It was adorable!

"Can we keep it?" Xay said with a big smile.

I knew we shouldn't necessarily keep a stray cat but it was adorable... "Yeah"

Xay practically squealed in excitement!

"We can go to X to make sure it's in good health," I said logically, Xay nodded back.

We went to our nether portal, Xay holding the cat (looking adorable with it.) He nuzzled against it's head and it started purring again.

We started our long flight to X's portal hoping not to be seen. We did run in to Wels on the way but he knows what's going on and we had a nice little chat as well.

"Well Hels we really should be getting to Suma's before anyone else sees us," I said getting a bit unnerved at how long we had been in the same place.

"Okay," he sighed giving me a hug, "I really miss you." he said the last bit quieter so Xay couldn't hear.

I returned with a sad smile and took off again with Xay.

We eventually got to Xisuma's base and he was a bit shocked at our arrival.

"Hey X! We found a cat!" Xanthus said grinning ear to ear, making X and me smile as well.

"Aww it's adorable! I expect you want me to see how it's doing, I'd guess that Hels suggested that as well," he giggled.

He took it from Xay softly and started having a look at it still holding a conversation.

"So any ideas on names?" X asked, " it's a boy by the way, "

Xay looked like he was about to burst with ideas! "Many! But I think the perfect name would be Zaffre!" [Pronounced Zaff-er if you didn't know]

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"Well it's just the name of the colour that his eyes are," He replied as if it's the most known word in the world.

"I like that name, it's different," X said.

"Same," I agreed.

We were all having a nice chat and goofing off until X got a bing on his communicator.

"Sorry guys I just saw something and I need to get going, Zaffre is in full health though so b-" he said but flew away before he even finished his sentence.

"Well that's a bit odd," Xay said.

"It's probably something to do with the changeling, we should get going," I said trying to rush him along. I was truly petrified by the thought of the changeling seeing me.

"Ok we can get going,"
