The Jiang siblings waited for her arrival at the Lotus Pier and immediately shoved her to the hall to eat with them. It has been late for lunch, but the siblings waited for her to come.

"Why the hell are you guys skipping your lunch? Aunt is going to scold me for letting you skip meals," She scolded the two of them.

"You're such a worrywart, Second Sister," Jiang WanYin said. "We know you will come after lunch, so we took a late breakfast so that we can wait for you,"

Jiang YanLi chuckled at the lousy excuse of their little brother. Which earned a twitch of eyebrow from Wei MeiLan. "I see. By the way, is everything alright? You won't call me if it's not important,"

"Well, you are the main disciple of my mother, Yu ZiYuan, but you hadn't mastered the whip well. The Meishan Yu is telling us to hand over you for your further cultivation," Jiang WanYin said with hesitation in his eyes.

"I'm a Wei, A'Cheng. Not from Aunt Yu's clan. I dare not to learn their cultivation and only the basics. It's not necessary for me to know it, I want to have a unique cultivating method for myself and whoever has the same capability as me. As much as the Jiang clan has been our family, I want to make a cultivation that is mine. I will talk to them to decline their demand," She answered gently. "But for now, what it is the other matter that you even need me to come here?"

"You won't eat with us?"

"I will, but you can also tell me what it is," She said.

"A'Cheng, you rebuilt the Lotus Pier, but why did you let this place in this state?"

"Even if we wanted to renovate it, we can't," Jiang WanYin explained. "There's a spell blocking us from going further, so we need help to clear it,"

A small section of land with a dilapidated shed is seen. Evidence of trying to enter the shed with spiritual energy is seen at the ground with an invisible layer of barrier.

"As you can see, even the Wen's tried to barge in but was unsuccessful. We can't even come in,"

Wei MeiLan looked at the siblings. "I made this barrier. It only allows Aunt Yu and me to enter the perimeter of the barrier within. It has no illusion, so whatever you see is what's inside. I can go in and disable it for you,"

She didn't waited for their reply and entered the barrier. She only needed to rip the talisman at the door to cancel the barrier and opened the door of the shed to take a look on what's inside once again.

The last time she was inside, Yu ZiYuan tasked her to put four chests of equal size inside. As for the contents, she doesn't have any idea of what it is. Her last task was to make a barrier that won't allow except her and her master.

And to know that it works, two of Yu ZiYuan will try to attack the barrier to see how sturdy it is. It took her a week to perfect the barrier at the cost of exhaustion and sleeping for two days to replenish her energy.

The four chest were still in place, but it has names now each chests. "Jiejie, A'Cheng, can you come over?"

The two person she called hesitated to move at first then followed her later on. They are shocked to see how easy for Wei MeiLan to rip a talisman like it's nothing and made it like it's no big deal. Then as they entered the shed, they saw her standing in the middle looking at the wooden chests with their names on it.

On the left side, it was dedicated to the Jiang siblings while the other is for the Wei twins. Wei MeiLan is surprised to see their names being engraved at those wooden chests she painstakingly dragged to the shed that day for her mentor. She didn't dare to take a step towards the chest named for her and just stared. Whatever is inside, she knows they're something meant for them to use in the near future and should be a surprise for them. But now that her master is dead, and they need to rebuild the Pier they need to deal with this place too.

"A'Qing, why aren't you checking those things?" Jiang YanLi asked her.

"Even if I open it, I know she had put something that she wants me to use but I never dared because I never had a time to. And I'm sure that they are well preserved for I see the spell I made."

She took a step forward towards the chest named Wei WuXian and opened it. Inside were full of elixirs, high grade rolls of cloths in color red and black and another spiritual sword, unnamed. She closed the lid and opened hers, surprising her.

Lots of clothes in color gold, black, blue, white, purple, pink, and grey were folded neatly in manner at one side, a few sets of books, instruments for apothecary, a pair of knives, and a music instrument. A letter was put carefully at the top of the clothes, waiting for her.

'Thank you for everything.

Thank you for staying.

It might sound ridiculous, when I told you to take care of them until my final breath, but I want to see defiance in your eyes that day.

If something happens to me and you read this, find your soulmate. I'm sure that all of you are all capable enough and they won't need protection from you.

I have been greedy for keeping you and knowing that you have potential like your brother, and I blame myself for forcing you to be sensible and responsible at a young age.

I wish I have prepared everything for you. Live your life, let my children fail and stand at their own feet. Even though we gave them a foundation, leading them to different directions, I know that they will achieve their goal, that's why I want you to find yours.

That is my last order to you.'

She almost crumbled the paper in confusion. Yu ZiYuan absolutely told her to take care of her children as her priority. But she gave a different task upon her death.

"I can't believe you aunt," She brushed her head in frustration. "This isn't real..."
