(Name) POV

I gotta say, it's been a good month since I've seen that damned vixen and her little book club.

Seems like most of the rumors have finally cooled down as well, though people still speculated.

Oh well, let them believe what they want, I guess.

Nevermind that, today is supposed to be a good day.

Two of my old friends from high school actually decided to hit me up and ask to hang out.

Now most of my being was telling me to decline and ghost them both without a second though, but then I remember what Seraphine said to me one time.

-Flashback-

"Stop being such a lazy bum and actually go outside instead of wasting your life away inside of that shack you call an apartment!"

-Flashback End-

She's so wise, I thought while wiping a singular tear from my eyes.

Anyway, I decided to take her advice for once and set a meeting up. Hopefully they don't bring up the Ahri situ-

"Is it true that you're Ahri's boyfriend?"

Fuck.

I slowly turned my head to look over at the one who said it. It was my friend, Marcel Wiltshire.

He was a tall male standing at 6'2" with brown skin and light pink dreads with a black Nike headband.

"You ask that because of the rumors, right?" I sighed and rubbed my temples.

"Well if we didn't hear of the rumors, he wouldn't have asked in the first place. Be smart about this, (Name)."

My head snapped towards the other male who had a bored expression on his face. He had black hair and golden eyes which always seemed to have a dull glow to them. He was also tall, coming around 6'1" and had light brown skin. This was Caleb Prunty.

"It's been around five years since I've seen you, and I can say with no regret that I didn't miss the sarcasm." I spoke with annoyance clear in my tone.

The male simply shrugged. "Just being realistic."

"Lame!" Marcel complained. "We came here to hang out and have fun, not to worry about (Name)'s relationship status. I doubt he has anything to update us on anyway."

"I'm going to ignore that jab, where are we even going?"

My questioned was quickly answered as the male spun around and pointed at the bright neon sign.

"Oh, it's the arcade." I let out a hum.

"Oh, for real?" Caleb inquired, though it was obvious he was being sarcastic.

"Drop the attitude before I drop you."

"We got a problem?"

"Get close to me and I can promise that the only problem you'll have is the outfit you're wearing right now being the one you wear when you meet God."

We just glared at each other for a few seconds before just chuckling softly.

The dread-head in the background just sighed softly. "The hell is wrong with you guys. L-Let's just go inside." He ushered us inside of the building.

"Ah, gotta love how disgusting these places are. Is that a pizza slice on the ceiling? Classic." Caleb commented as he took a breath of deep air, only to cough from all the unknown and probably extremely dangerous germs that were in the place.

"Split up and meet here in an hour to flex all the tickets we have?"

"Duh."

"Obviously."

We all then gave each other a determined nod and spun around, each heading into our own areas.

I was basically everywhere, playing every game that looked interesting to me.

It was then that I came to my mortal enemy for years, Dance Dance Revolution.

"DDR, my old rival, we meet once again." I managed to put on a serious tone as I stared the machine down.

"Are you talking to the machine?"

My head snapped behind me to see a girl who said that. She had bright purple hair, a baseball cap, black face mask, and sunglasses which hid her eye color.

She seemed familiar.

Not familiar enough to remember though, so I don't care.

"Pfft, no. You're hearing things." I tried to play it off with a nervous chuckle.

The girl was silent for a few seconds and shrugging. She walked past me and stepped onto the machine.

"Wanna play a few rounds?" She asked as she motioned to the empty space next to her.

I scoffed slightly, arrogance showing through my expression as I stepped next to her.

"Sure, don't complain when I obliterate you though."

-Timeskip-

Holy fuck, I just got obliterated. I didn't even wanna look up at the screen because of how good she did.

"Are you a professional dancer or something?! You weren't even trying!"

She laughed softly at my outburst. "No hard feelings?" She asked, holding her hand out for a hand shake.

Deciding to push my pride aside just this once, I reluctantly shook her hand.

"You're really good, we should do this again some time. Can I get your number or something?" I bluntly asked.

The girl looked incredibly embarrassed through the face mask if that was possible. "My number?!"

"That is indeed what I just said, yes. Can I have your number so we can do this again?" I reiterated to make sure she understood.

She was silent for a few seconds before reaching her hand out. I was confused for a few seconds before letting out an audible 'oh' and handing her my phone.

A few seconds of her putting her number in later, she handed my phone back and I mentally patted myself on the back.

I then heard Marcel and Caleb talking loudly.

As per usual.

I put my phone away, and looked at the dancer girl. "My friends are probably looking for me, so uh, I have to go. I'll make sure to text you when I'm not busy though."

"Oh! Please, don't keep them waiting." She urged. "I'll hold you to it."

I gave the girl a small smile and nodded, waving as I turned around and ran towards my two idiots.

-Third Person POV-

-Timeskip-

The dancer stepped into what seemed like her bedroom and sighed in relief at finally being able to remove her accessories.

She basically toor the hat and shades off, the mask following it.

She then looked into the mirror in her room as her face was finally uncovered.

Kai'sa smiled softly as she looked down at her phone screen, not wanting to admit she was waiting for a message.

"Just wait until Ahri hears about this."
