"Was he dealt with?" A dark figure sitting in an office chair questioned.
In front of them kneeled the individual who attacked our hero. "I was able to injure him heavily, but he isn't dead. I apologize."
The figure merely smiled under the cover of darkness.
"Show me your face, young one."
The person kneeling nodded softly, looking up before removing their hood and what was left of the mask.
They were a young female of around 20 years of age with blonde hair, pale skin with not even a single blemish, and bright blue eyes.

Luxanna "Lux" Crownguard, The Lady of Luminosity
"There is no need to apologize, child, you've done exactly what I asked of you."
"I..I don't understand." Lux spoke softly as she looked up to the dark figure.
The figure stood up was silent for a few seconds. They then proceeded to walk towards the door.
"All in due time, my dear subordinate." We're their final words before they exiting the room
Meanwhile, the light wielder remained kneeling in place, her shoulders shaking softly.
"(Name)..." She whispered shakily as she clenched her eyes shut, forcing her tears down.
"I'm so sorry."

A pair of (Eye Color) eyes snapped open.
They darted around the room he was in as he slowly sat up on the bed he was on.
Wait, bed?
Where the hell was he?
Trying to stand up only proved to be difficult.
Looking down, he noticed all of the bandages covering his body.
Burns, he mused as he cleared his throat.
"Hello..?" He called out in a raspy voice.
Almost immediately after he spoke, two figures entered the room, both of which he recognized.
One looked incredibly angry, while the other looked indifferent.
"Am I in trouble?" He nervously questioned the two.
