The kingdom was about to celebrate a royal ball. It was anticipated by everyone as it was the prince's sixteenth birthday. Once a royal comes to that age, he or she must find someone to marry.

It was no exception to the fair prince. His uncle was going to choose. For if there is no marriage, the royal line will not succeed. He will have to marry someone whom he does not love.

"March is coming up very fast." Ray said, sitting by the dazed prince.

"Norman?" Ray said, turning to the boy.

"Yes?" He said, his paperwork almost flying away.

"Why do you keep staring out of the damn window?" He asked.

"I want to go back and see her again." He said, gazing out of the window. The forest's luscious green trees was in view, birds flying and chirping all around. His eyes as blue as the bright blue sky trailed upon the hidden door that led him to the forest.

"You're so into this girl." He said. "Are you even sure she'll be there?"

"She lives in the woods." He said, which made Ray surprised.

"Someone living in the woods?" He asked.

"Yeah." He said. "But she would not let me see her people."

"Norman she's dangerous." Ray warned. "She might be someone notorious."

"Nonsense." He said. She looked too innocent to be a criminal. Her soft features gave it away. There was no way she was dangerous.

"And if you're planning to go out today, you can't." Ray said. "Today is the town's early festival, Norman. You need to be there."

"But I need to know more about her." Norman said, looking out of the window. He was simply curious of her. How she's living in the forest and how she cannot leave the forest.

"Norman are you listening to yourself right now?" Ray asked, annoyed. "I let you go out and then you're forgetting about your duties! Just because of this girl you met."

"That's it." Ray stomped his way to the window. As he closed the window, he earned a small gasp from the prince. "You're not going today, tomorrow or ever."

"For all we could know, she's a threat." Ray said, the anger rising up in him.

"Then let me go to find out if she really is!" Norman pleaded. He understood that Ray was concerned, but the girl was still on his mind. He hated doing those duties, he wanted to go and take his mind off of everything.

"Crown prince of the kingdom, Norman!" Ray exclaimed. "Are you insane? I'm not letting you go."

"I know you're worried but please." Norman pleaded.

"No." Ray glared. "I can't have you be exposed again. It was my mistake that I let you out in the first place. Now you're willing to not get your duties done. You have responsibilities, Norman."
